Thank you so much for fixing my wipers. I stopped in this morning and just walked in. The first big snow storm and of course my wipers stopped working. The gentleman that helped me was very courteous and accommodated my need right away! I'm new to the area and probably will not be going to another shop if I ever need anything. Thank you so much for also giving me some great advice and a few other items as well! Beyond impressed with the customer service and professionalism.

We needed a rental vehicle for a week while a transmission was being replaced. We initially went to Budget but after getting there and finding out that it was going to cost over $400 a week, we turned around and walked out the door.I remembered that Bill Hardin at Hardin's had vehicles for rent and although they weren't brand spanking new vehicles just off the lot, they were relatively new, clean and well maintained autos that were a pleasure to drive and ended up costing us only $250 for a week - a price that none of the local rental agencies could even come close to and it took less than 10 minutes to process the paperwork. (If you've ever rented a car from a chain before, you know how long that process can take!)If you're in the St Joseph area and you need to rent a car for relatively local mileage, see Bill at Hardin's!

Do not buy a vehicle from this guy. He sold me a car with a bad transmission. I called him up two weeks later after the purchase and he refuses to take the vehicle back. The only thing he has to say is that he sold me a warranty that will cover the repairs. He knew the transmission was bad but decided to sell the vehicle anyways. When you pay $8000 for a vehicle you don’t want to have to deal with putting a transmission in it two weeks later. If he was an honest businessman he would take the vehicle back put the transmission in it and resell it.

The staff was extremely friendly but I would not go back. With replacing the vehicle's front lower control arms, a front drive axle, the rusted thru frame repair, plus other small items I dropped almost $2k in the first four weeks of buying the car not including the $500 +/- I still have left. Car has great potential once everything is fixed. But my fault for not seeing all the issues there and paying less than I did.

Twice I have rented vehicles from Hardin's and also purchased my latest vehicle from them. I would recommend them to anyone I know, family included. Wether it's an oil change, car rental, or looking for a Quality used vehicle they are the ones to go to.

They were able to diagnose a battery problem that another shop had missed. They explained my options well and repaired everything within a few hours. He even came to the house to pick it up and drop it off since we were so close. We had a great experience and will be back!

These guys saved my butt. The truck I rented in Chicago at Home Depot had damage not reported. They went online and found it in a previous rental and saved me a real hassle. I should have gone back to the agent in Chicago but I didn’t have time since condos have strict time regulations. Thanks Hardins!!!!!

Buyer beware they sell problem vehicles and don't warranty their own labor. Would not recommend without a lawyer.
