Don’t waste your time - really poor integrity.
They replaced my clutch. $1600 later, the clutch was loose. Plus, the driver’s window control that allows the driver to have it automatically go up/down didn’t work. Didn’t think much of it as I’ve never had a new clutch, and figured the window issue was just a fluke.
About two weeks after, I took a trip 2.5 hours away to have the car become undriveable. I called immediately to be told the issues I was experiencing weren’t related to the new clutch.
After having it looked at while still out of town, this new mechanic fixed it right away, letting me know one of the two shift cables wasn’t connected. After he heard the clutch was replaced recently, he said Burke probably didn’t fully connect it after putting the car back together.
When I called Mr. Burke, he said it wasn’t their fault and he’d have to think about it for a day to see if he’d cover the $150 I had to pay the other mechanic to fix something that should have been a non-issue. Said he’d call me back the next day and he never did, nor the next 4 days. Very disappointed - they’ll never get our business again. I highly recommend you look to other mechanics.
