The place is so unbelievably cluttered, it’s impossible to shop. They have boxes and boxes piled up everywhere. Two aisles are completely blocked the entire way so you are unable to buy anything off of those shelves. Couldn’t get what I wanted.

The manager of the store is completely out of line and rude everytime I try to use a coupon. Claiming I'm trying to swindle the store out of money... $4 whole dollars. I have worked in retail for over 10 years, I understand how to clip coupons. You can see it on my phone when I come in. It's $4.... on top of that the store is a complete mess. I understand not having help. But atleast treat people with respect. My family is no longer shopping at this location as long as that manager is there. Please speak with her about her attitude.

Dollar general in St John's have been closed for a week and the community is pissed,As I said outside the store I have seen customers get very upset because they are not letting us know what's going on I think that's very unfair to their customers.Has anybody heard anything why Dollar general has been closed we deserve to know

This store is always a disaster and messy as heck HOWEVER it's great to be able to run in and grab a little something you need and not go into a full fledged grocery store. A second positive, Carrson (I believe that's how he spells it) is a fantastic employee. In a world filled with useless, disinterested, grouchy cashiers, he's a ray of sunshine. He's fantastic!

not a very good store customer service is terrible and all the good people left, don’t buy frozen things here it does not get put away fast enough and half of the frozen items are no good because they thawed and got refrozen from sitting to long

Clean. Cashier was friendly & wearing her mask correctly. Lots of stuff for a small store. They have just about everything you may need to stop in for. At a reasonable price. But not a lot of variety for some items.A sign outside said they have an app to do online orders & curbside pickup as well.Overall worth checking out.

Very rude associate when asked about the big clearance sales going on. The associate stated, "they weren't ready for it". We visited 4 different Dollar Generals and this was the only one that we had a problem with. It would not let me leave a zero star or I would've left that. Very disappointed.
