“This was a great place to pick up a one-way rental, the people working the desk were friendly and knowledgeable. I rented a truck and a car trailer, and I was surprised how easy it was to load my car on the trailer and tow it. Renting one-way was significantly less expensive in my particular situation, but we didn't want to drive two vehicles back. If this applies to you, it was definitely worth the rental cost for a trailer that you drive your car on, a perfect solution if you are driving alone or with someone who doesn't like to drive long distances. Loading the car was easy, they have detailed instructions, but pictures were included on the fenders of the trailer so it was straightforward to strap and chain the car to secure it. Also I will say the truck and trailer have low centers of gravity (compared to other trucks I've rented) and that made it seem really stable to drive on the highway, something I was curious about since I've never towed a car trailer behind a big box truck before. And backing up was surprisingly easy because of the trailer tongue length and wheel placement. (I use small utility trailers with my car and they are more difficult to back up with.)

Only one minor issue, the gas tank was marked at full on the paperwork, but when checking the truck, it actually had 1/4 of a tank. But they corrected that and I returned it with 1/4 tank. There was no hassle or problem with this, I just didn't want to pay for a full tank when it was almost empty to start and it was an easy fix for them to change their paperwork. I just got my receipt today from the past weekend rental and there were no surprises, my balance was $0 as expected, and I had a really great experience with the people and the equipment.

I used a different truck rental company a few years ago to move some furniture, and while the truck was fine, they weren't as friendly and helpful. U-Haul was an easy drop off as well, I just parked the truck and trailer, drove my car off the trailer, then dropped the keys in a box. This only took a few minutes and I was back on the road in my own car.”
