We used U-Pack to ship household goods from Michigan to Washington. They were very professional and easy to work with. Their drivers were courteous and helpful. There price was very competitive. I would use them again.

The move from Louisiana to Michigan went great. The reason I am giving 3 stars is due to the fact when I set the move I was informed that they do not deliver where I was moving. Once I got my household goods to the city, the receiving place informed me that they could have delivered, but it was too late to have them do so. So I had to unload at the center and make many trips. So if you use U-pack, call the receiving city if you were told that they do not deliver to your city to find out first.

They dropped off when they said they would they picked up when they said they would!! My stuff was delivered out of state when they said it would be. Excellent service!! And it was the cheapest quote I got out of many. There was no charges, no surprises. Would use again if I ever moved again.

U-Pack was great to book with and it was a service I was excited to use for my family and I to move across the country. However, mother nature threw out a curve ball and flooded out the town we live near. U-Pack distribution called us in the morning and said they wanted to deliver the trailer early. We told them that they have to take a south route to get to us. We got a call from the driver an hour later saying he can't get to us. When I asked the route he took, he tried to drive through the flood zone. He said there was nothing he could do and my alternate route was too far out of the way and his supervisor won't allow it. We called U-Pack back up and they called the distribution center supervisor AND manager and they both said they won't drive out to us because of an "Act of God". I explained to them that the town is flooded but that I live in a high elevation area and no where near the flood, nor will we be at risk of flooding. They still didn't want to accommodate us. I even offered to pay the extra time and expense to drive the detour, still nothing other than a hard NO. I've been on the front lines with COVID and know what challenges are. We never said no, and always found a way. It's a shame that these guys at the distribution center can't "find" a way. The only other solution they recommended was that I rent a moving truck, pack up my house, drive it to the distribution center, and then load it into the U-Pack trailer. If I can drive to them, why won't they drive to me? All I can say is shame on you U-Pack for leaving me stranded six days out from having to move!!

This is the second time we have used U-pack for a cross country move. They have proved to be a great, reliable, cost effective solution for our moves both times. Items arrive in a timely fashion and in good shape. We have found U-pack to be easy to work with and very convenient. Will definitely use again.

The trailer showed up for the start of our move on time and as promised. Driver put the trailer where we needed it and explained procedure when we were finished loading to have it picked up. We needed to store the trailer at our final destination as we had not purchased a home yet and had no where to off load it. No problem with that part either. We bought our home in an area that was a bit further out from our original storage area. The office said there would be a charge of near $500 to move it. I mentioned to him that I had talked with someone when originally booking and mentioned this outer area was a consideration for us and that the person on the phone said no problem, no additional charge. The person that I am now talking to on the phone said they record all calls and he would listen back and see if that indeed happened like I said. I thought to myself, yeah sure. Like they are actually going to find where I said that to a former agent I talked with. No more than a day went by and sure enough.....they said it happened like I said and there would be no charge of $500. I really appreciate their honesty and following through.

We used U-Pack to move items from Michigan to Alaska. Everything went great and faster than estimated too. One issue was no ramp at the Alaska end. This was a horrible thing for a 60 year old couple to unload a semi trailer with no ramp. ABFoffered 150$ Off our bill. Off to buy more Aleve.
