As of 2 days ago the restaurant has been abandoned and is now closed. Sounds weird to just up and leave but who knows. Someone sitting outside told us that when we came to eat tonight.

Food was super yummy. Four large pieces of cod. I couldn’t eat it all. The whitefish was awesome too. Great food at a great price.

I've been going to the savoy for breakfast for a while now. You can't beat the prices (the portions are huge) and Mrs Shinaver's French toast is fantastic (French toast breaded with Frosted Flakes -it is as good as it sounds). The food is greasy, and nothing fancy, but it's a great breakfast place. If I had the choice between IHOP/Denny's or the Savoy, I'd always pick the Savoy. The food is better, the portions are larger, and I always prefer to support my local small businesses when I can. The dining room can be a little dirty/greasy; and again, I wouldn't go here if you're trying to count calories, but if you want a solid breakfast for a great price, you won't be disappointed. The coffee is also surprisingly good.

Wasted 15 minutes of our lives sitting at a dirty table waiting for service. Spotted 5 employees and none of them would even make eye contact with us. No "Hi, be with you soon!" Before the owner responds to this review that we "should plan our lives better", we got there 2 choirs before the show at the Temple Theater. review that we

This place has great food! I love all the history on the walls too. It's definitely on the list of places you have to eat at when visiting downtown Saginaw.

Amazing breakfast. Even a simple choice like eggs and toast is better here than anywhere else. We get the French toast as a breakfast appetizer ? if you go, get a mimosa!

This place has a 60s/70s vibe into it. Lots of frames in the wall. Retro looks and most importantly, good food. The churo waffle is delicious! I ordered 2eggs, bacon & toast, because they don’t have the crab cakes benedicts anymore. I really wanted to try that one. Order came out promptly. Service is great. Overall a good breakfast.

I had the Tuna Melt on marble rye bread and a bowl of Chili. Both were delicious. Needed to take 1/2 of sandwich home. Really good A bit chilly though but not chilli warmed me enough to enjoy my meal.
