Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a shipper. The delivery times get changed whenever they feel so it is almost impossible to be around when they decide to show up. I got a call half hour before they were supposed to arrive before labor day weekend and asked the driver to just drop my $5500 hoist in front of my barn and I would take care of it. The driver ended up dropping my hoist at the edge of my road and my house is 1/4 mi from the road. I have had several semi trucks in my driveway without issue driven by myself as well as others. After my hoist was left at the road like trash I wasn't even told and got a call from my neighbor days later telling me someone had stopped and was going through my package at the road. I had to make arrangements for my family and friends to go to my house and get my $5500 package to my house where it was safe. Absolute worst experience I have ever had!

They were great about communication about my freight delivery and earlier than the time we had setup for delivery. All in all I am very happy with this company.

Kindest truck driver I have ever met I think his name was Tom he dropped my package off on time and even went out of his way in 100°f weather to cart it to the back of the house where we are going to put the pool we ordered through Amazon a large swimming pool and I am very thankful to have Saia LTL Freight as the delivering company to deliver it if I ever have to order anything large from Amazon again I will hope it's through saia LTL Freight with Tom behind the wheel.

Driver unloaded a bathtub without using any ramp, he let it drop to the ground from the trailer. He dollied it up the driveway and lost control of it. The box was visibly damaged, bathtub visible. Driver didnt inspect or care to notice the damage. Instead he kicked the box in to make it look good while he was behind camera 1 that he saw, unaware of camera 2 behind him. I was a phone call/text away if the driveway or delivery was going to be an issue. I made the driver aware of the delivery situation with the road and long driveway uphill as i had my concerns with the semi truck and trailer. Complete lack of care at the end of the delivery. He should have taken a peek and taken it back to his truck. Its still here, i will try to update on that as its been several days so far.

The drivers are using Dutcher Street which is a residential neighborhood when delivering to the Flint Township Walmart and Sam’s Club . Deliveries to this retail area are supposed to use Mansoor Boulevard not Dutcher Street. Inform your drivers to enter and exit Walmart Sam’s Club retail area by using Mansour Boulevard stop bothering the residence along Dutcher Street. Mansoor Boulevard was built specifically for trucks to use to deliver to this retail area !

I was stuck between a 3 or a 4 star review but I have to say that the customer service I personally received is why I put 4 stars. I was extremely upset because my boys had been waiting for their go kart for 4 days and we had an appointment set up for Monday delivery. At 2:00 I hadn’t heard from the driver so I called and was told that it never got on the truck for delivery. I was so irritated. But the two customer service reps I talked with were so patient and kind. We only live an hour away so we decided to just pick it up to not risk another missed delivery day. It was easy to find and the gentleman that helped us there was so kind! He explained that they are short handed and are a bit behind. Which I understand. I would maybe recommend relaying that to the companies you’re shipping for so they can tell the customers. Ultimately I am pretty happy with my experience.

I had a time slot of between 1 and 5 and they were telling me around 730 pm. So I waited and waited until 10 pm at night and my shipment never arrived. Tracked my shipment and they took it back to the warehouse. My 5 year old son was expecting his 4 wheeler to show up last night and it didn't and now customer service is closed until Monday. Thr absolute worse service I have ever endured.

This place is in bad shape. Looks like it's abandoned. I irritated the employee by making him do his job. Ridiculously limited pick up hours.

Worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. First they call you the day before delivery saying that you have to be there and give you a 6 hour window. If you don't go with that, then you have to wait for another week to get it. Then you make last minute arrangements, take off from work and they don't show up! You check with their online tracking and they change the delivery to the evening, mind you, no one has called to say anything to you about it. Then you call, and have to wait 15 minutes before someone picks up the phone just to tell you they are delayed. It's obvious they do not know the meaning of logistics and customer service. We will no longer order from that company again that uses SAIA for shipping. We went for a cheaper option and we paid for it. Remember, if it's cheaper...there is a reason! We ordered from "In Swim Pool Supplies" . But we will not order from them again, unless they switch freight companies.
