The Meijer on Tittabawassee is one of my favorites. Kind employees, down-to-earth folks that shop there. I haven't had a bad experience to date.

Despite the remodel done not too long ago, it feels the same. They have a better selection of international foods than Kroger, especially Asian cuisine, but could still be better. They also seem to have a larger variety of vegetables and fruit.

Had an issue with an app coupon. It said you could get $10 off $50 for charcoal and Meijer meat. HOWEVER, it said I needed $20 more to get $10 off, assuming it meant I already bought $30 worth of stuff. Of course, it didn't work. Don't bother pointing this out to the self-checkout and department managers on staff, they were absolutely clueless and couldn't read the coupon terms. To make matters worse, they were smug about it and treated me like an idiot. One guy even kept insisted the coupon was only for charcoal and refused to read the terms and look at the items that applied under the terms, shown directly in the app.
Meijer's computer systems, whether it's for recycling or coupons, is always dodgy. I tend to find the more complicated the coupon is, the more likely it is that it won't work. It's not even worth explaining it to the cashiers or managers, you'd have better luck training Mongolian villagers how to get to the moon.
Meijer's customer support of course, never got back to me.

Everything I'd have expected from Meijer when I lived in Michigan 20 years ago. Not much has changed and that's perfectly fine.

The the produce has a great variety. They also have an assortment of cut flowers where you can build your own bouquet which was awesome. The bakery has a variety of items also and you can pick your donuts.
