I would leave a zero if I could. Here’s what happened:
I ordered a fridge the end of April to be delivered on May 16th. When the fridge came it did not fit the opening so they took it back. After searching for a new fridge and realizing the smaller ones were too cheaply made, we called Lowe’s and told them to bring it back we were going to fix the opening. They scheduled us the following week on May 23rd. On May 23rd when they brought the fridge back it was damaged. My husband didn’t notice it so when I got home I called Lowe’s. The lady on the phone said she knew. I said you knew and they just tried to sneak it in my house without saying anything??? I told her to come and get the fridge. When the guy returned he was angry and told me he had to pay 20 % of that fridge now. How is that my fault? I spoke to a lady on the phone and ordered another fridge which now was not going to come in until June 10th, a day after a graduation party I was planning with only a small fridge in my basement. I called on June 8th because I thought if they had it maybe they could deliver it early. After talking to Jose, I found out they didn’t even order it!! Now if I wanted it, it would be another two weeks out. I went to the store and spoke to Hailey and a store manager. I decided to order it again. I called Jose and he said he would get it done and get back to me later that day. When Jose called he told me that he hated to be the bearer of bad news, although it seemed like he thought it was funny, but he had to cancel the order and refund my money. That was it. No explanation, no can I help you find something else? No can I give you something for your troubles. Just here’s your money back and basically go somewhere else we don’t care or want your business??? When I called customer service a couple days later they told me that a Lowe’s representative in the store named Hailey canceled the order. I told the lady that was a lie. I was right there with her and that is not what happened. So the lady took my complaint over the phone almost two weeks ago and no one has reached out to me. So basically after always shopping at Lowe’s and having a business account there we are done because no one cares. Lowe’s basically sent us away. Did we do something wrong or do they just not care about their customers anymore???

Had trouble getting my return taken care of by someone, and lied to me about what the rules are for returning things, but two days ago I had it done no problem!?

I had a good experience with the staff at Saginaw Lowe’s. Bought a nice patio umbrella and was helped loading
Got it home and was missing a solar part. Contacted Lowe’s after sale and was sent the part. It didn’t work. I was told to send in information off of sales slip. I did. I then received 3 emails to send in more information. I called and spoke to 3 people and was repeatedly told to send in more info. I asked to speak to a supervisor and waited 5 minutes and was told I would get a return phone call. It’s been 6 days. Saginaw, you did a great job. Home office ruined any chance I will do business with Lowe’s again

So after a phone call to craftsman about exchanging a reciprocating saw, which broke being it has a three year warranty and simply told to visit a Lowe’s to exchange it under their factory warranty, apparently wasn’t a thing. I’m almost an hour away Lowe’s now as I live in the country and sad I won’t be returning. Wasted trip, wasted miles, wasted gas expense !The customer service desk rejected my return stating their return policy is 90 days even on craftsman tools which have a 3 year warranty. I didn’t want to return I wanted to exchange under craftsman warranty…. And because they couldn’t get an RA number from Craftsman as they are closed today. Great so inconvenience long time FORMER customers …and fail to simply exchange a broken tool. No help!
