This place is horrible and needs to be shut down. The animals are in tiny cages. Cages were dirty. No food in any of them. All the animals looked exhausted and terrified. They are selling animals that are illegal to own in Michigan. Such as an armadillo ($4,000) and a coatimundi. The dogs they are selling were so exhausted they didn’t even move. I was so upset after leaving this place.

I'm told they now charge to pet the animals. This place keeps getting a little worse every time I go...

I was very disappointed with this establishment. I was more hoping for a fish/reptile store, and I was not expecting the large amount of exotic animals, which all seemed to be very stressed. All were in cages that were way too small, close to a dozen foxes stuck in a pen together that were actively fighting, large snakes crammed into tiny cages (which most had no locks on them and the glass could’ve been slid right open), fish that looked poorly…this is just a fraction amount of the things I witnessed. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and I hope they are investigated for the sake of the animals.

Me and my family have been going to this pet shop since they opened. They had friendly staff, clean, you were able to walk around and it didn’t stink. Now they have to many exotic animals and regular animals, it smells like ammonia so bad it gives me a head ache. You have to now pay to interact with certain animals like a zoo, when it’s literally a pet store. I watched a worker hit a fox with a broom. It’s very overly crowded with to many animals.

Very disappointed. We went there and my daughter wanted to pet the fox the employee said she couldn't touch it. And if she did we had to leave the store and then she said it would cost $14.99 to hold the fox. Never have i had a pet store charge to hold a animal. And the poor turtle they have walking around the employee kepted roughly pushing it with her foot..

Let a worker know their guinea pigs had no hay which can lead to very serious health concerns, she brushed it off by saying she has 400 animals to feed dispute it being over 4 hour after they opened. They didn’t even look like they had any hay in their cage to begin with. If you can’t care for all your animals including the ones that don’t have a $15 encounter you shouldn’t have them or get more staff.

This was horrifying. I had a feeling it would be but had to see for myself. I was there 30 seconds and was nearly in tears. Just wrong on so many levels. How can this be a legal business???

I was in the store yesterday looking at the animals. The cages were disgusting and it smelled so bad. The baby fox that were there were running around looked like they were so scared, animals like this should not be held in captivity. They will More than likely shortly die after especially like the fox, kangaroo, anything like that.

Normally I have no issues going here, but after the state of the animals enclosures it really appears that things aren't being cleaned and cared for properly. The smell was absolutely terrible. That was never really a problem before so I don't know what happened. Just was really depressing to see the state of some of those animals living conditions.

My heart cannot take the pain I endured at the state of this pet store and how it houses its animals and reptiles. The smell upon walking in alone is enough to tell you they do not maintain the pets cages. Upon walking up to each and every habitat (all of which are stacked on top of each other in small enclosures), I noticed so many different situations that just broke my heart. The reptiles in the back of the store are left in piles of their own poop and huddled into the corners of their enclosures, all of their bearded dragons where in such rough shape, one which was way underweight for its age and climbing to get out, stacked at the top of the closures in the back, isolated and neglected. The foxes are from breeders (stated by a staff member) and are priced at 599.00 per fox, no contact is allowed for these creature except from the store workers (you don’t need to be an expert to tell how isolated and neglected these amphibians and creatures are). The owner of the store must either never come in or be completely in it for the solicitation of these creatures. This is a highly unethical storefront and wildlife rescue should be involved immediately. So very sad to see such neglect and overpriced animals, they need help.
