We’ve been really happy with Waltonwood. The staff and administration is very good and friendly. They know all the residents and the families. There’s a positive feeling in the air there. I worked at another assisted living community in the area that was similar in price and it was nothing like Waltonwood. The staff were unhappy and it showed. I would highly recommend Waltonwood Royal Oak.

Housekeeping is hit or miss, laundry is not always put in a bag in my sisters room so it stinks, one member of care team is rude to me and calls my sister by her last name, front desk staff are wonderful!!

Waltonwood has been great for mom. The family has piece of mind that there are people watching over her and making sure her needs are met.

Most of staff working hard & on task assisting residents. Some residents need to ask for help. Food above average although service has slowed bc of lack of staffing.

Latrice, at their customer service desk, is the absolute most wonderful human being I’ve ever experienced. My grandmother is a patient there, and we had some concerns so I gave a call to them, she answered and made me feel so reassured, understood, and respected. I truly hope that every single one of your employees follows after her suit. Latrice is not even a nurse, but she still made me feel so reassured about my grandmothers care.Having your grandmother in a nursing home is already hard enough, to have someone like this be able to talk to you, like a human being, with kindness and compassion, truly makes everything different. She is the best person I have ever experience with a customer service job.. I feel so much better having my grandmother there, because of her kindness and humanity. I truly hope they give her a raise!

Waltonwood is nice aesthetically and there certainly are some awesome people. The problem is coordination of medical care which is why we trust our loved ones to this place. We have been there over a year and still no coordination between PCP and Waltonwood. Confusing for our loved one and our family.

Rooms are nice enough. However I’m surprised to see so many positive reviews of this place. I had to place my immobile father here for about a week a few years ago. Pretty awful experience for him, as they dropped him on the floor when transferring between bed and wheelchair and were not transparent about the event. They even botched his meds. So we’re talking very basic-level red flags, here- ensuring patient isn’t dropped, and correctly distributing meds.

Waltonwood is such a wonderful place I give it 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with incredible staff and Mr.Harris is wonderful ???? make sure to take a tour and send your loved one here for great care

This place is one of the most beautiful senior living facilities I’ve seen and everyone there was very helpful and friendly one of the staff members I remember is Charlie he was so helpful and nice I recommend this place to anyone. 5stars all the way!!!

I been Waltonwood for 17 years, I like to keep it clean in the kitchen, The care givers need to bring down the trays to the kitchen before 6:30pm, They left it the hallway

I think Walton Woods is a beautiful place, food is delicious staff very nice.. they have really good Activities for the residence it’s one of best I’ve seen

This is a good choice for your senior loved one. The staff is very friendly and professional. The facility is kept clean - and it smells clean. Communication between staff and family is superb. Residents are treated with respect and given attention. Pricing is reasonable compared to other facilities. It is a quiet and non-chaotic environment.I waited to post this review to see if my first impression remained my overall impression - this place is the real deal - you won't be disappointed.
