As I sit here in the drive thru I'm watching the attendant serve 4 others at the counter before me?Sorry I can't rate lower than 1 star or I would. Looks like alot of others feel the same way. I'll fill my prescriptions somewhere I can get service. Good bye Walgreens for good this time.

Took off my last review so I'm writing another. Online app said in progress/cancel for days for necessary blood pressure med refill. Said call pharmacy. Waited on hold 45 minutes on Sep 27th only to be hung up on. Went to store was told they are busy. Had to wait. Foreign pharmacist rude barely speaks English. GO TO WALGREENS ON WOODWARD IN BIRMINGHAM !!!! took picture of just how busy they were when I got there 5 minutes after I called.

Can I give less than 1 star? The pharmacy keeps cancelling my prescriptions THAT I AM OUT OF AND NEED and I have called them 6 times today, been on hold at least 15 mins each time, then hung up on. I can’t get ahold of anyone in the pharmacy to find out why my medicine is being cancelled. I’m going to end up in the hospital because of this place!!! The staff always has an attitude when I am able to get my prescriptions and it always takes FOREVER to get them when I go to the store. I am going to ZMC in Royal oak who has been highly recommended to me.

So very bad. Sent in a prescription last night around 8pm (before the pharmacy closed), it's now 11:30 the next day and still hasn't been filled. This is a prescription I have taken regularly.The last time I picked it up, the pharmacy attendant told me "We can't give you this medication because you're allergic to it." ?? I let her know that wasn't true, as I have taken this medication many times, and asked if she could please remove that note from my file moving forward.A few months later, I've now been waiting nearly half a day to have that same medication filled. I called the pharmacy twice, was placed on hold both times, and after being on hold the second time for 11 minutes, someone answered and yelled "HELLO?" I introduced myself, and before I could continue and ask for the pharmacist, the person said "Yes I already know, you're calling about the bread boxes. It's not ready yet." ..?? I said no, I need to speak to the pharmacy. The person said "Oh sorry" and HUNG UP.I'm still on hold for the third time. No answer or medication. I don't know who called about bread boxes (online order maybe?) but I hope they get them.This is the worst Walgreens ever.

I was wowed today by the exceptional service I received from Amelia. I was even more impressed when she told me it was her first day. ? Great hiring Team Walgreens. Amelia was professional, well-trained, courteous, kind and friendly. She knew everything! Kudos to Amelia! ??? If she keeps this up she'll be managing a Walgreens one day.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy. Pharmacist is rude. She debates with customers about their doctors orders. She's dismissive and condescending. Associates never know anything about anything but want you to verify your first born before releasing your medication. (More often than not, their unkempt as if they just left the rave and can't to work.) This even though you're signed up for delivery. They mess up prescriptions and fail to inform or update customer. I'm supposed to be set up for delivery. Yet I have to come to the store for every prescription and go through military clearance. Each time I complain. Each time I'm told it will be fixed.Clearly it's not this store's concern or priority whether or not its customers are properly served.I do not trust this pharmacy. I wish it were possible to rate it a zero. ?

Went to go pick up medication, not realizing that it was Saturday and the pharmacy closed earlier. As I'm checking the pharmacy hours to see if I can come back in the morning before I work, an employee walks up behind me and tells me 'they're not coming back' in a rude tone. I understand telling a customer that the pharmacy is closed for the day, but as someone who also works customer service, I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me. In the future I'll be sending my prescriptions elsewhere.

This location is horrible. They keep picking up the call just to put it on hold which I'm sure many people just hang up. Horrible service, don't waste your time.

The pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Had my prescription sent here since my last Walgreens pharmacy closed. 4 days after having my prescription sent there I called for an updated since I had not heard anything or gotten a text. The tech asks over the phone if I changed my insurance since they didn't have it. I told her I'd didn't make any changes. She then asked me for the name of my insurance, I gave it to her, and she said well I need all your info before I am able to order your prescription. I did not have my card in-front of me, so I asked her if she could just pull over my info from the other Walgreens since they share info. She responded with "we share all our info" I said "exactly so it should be there right" her answer was "if it was there it would already transferred, since I can't see it it's not there". I didn't want to debate the issue anymore so I asked if she could just order it and and when I go into pick it up I can give you my insurance info when I pay for it. She told me "we can't order any prescriptions until we have your insurance". I told her that did make that much sense since people who are uninsured are still able to get medications and pay out of pocket and use GoodRX or something similar. She said that's not true and it's just the way it is. I then asked her if this was in fact the case, why they didn't notify me of the issue 4 days ago when they got my script and I had to call to find out my meds still hadn't been ordered due to them loosing my insurance info. She answered with "let me transfer you to a pharmacist". Within 1 minute of talking to the pharmacist she was able to pull my insurance info from the other Walgreens and then order my meds since they were out of stock. Absolute horrific experience, if my life depended on my meds I would be dead. They need to get employees that actually know what they are talking about and how to use their own system. Its almost like they hire people to lie and create fake excuses hoping someone doesn't call them out on their lies and just stall patients until they actually can do their job. A complete liability, and so frustrating when so many meds are on back order and take weeks to get filled anyways. If the dollar tree had a pharmacy, they'd probably deliver better service.

If you like to play fast and loose with withdrawal symptoms, this is the pharmacy for you. If you want your medications, when you need them, go elsewhere.This is a pharmacy for people who love running out of their meds for a week or two, because no one will order them. It doesn't matter how many times you call or go in to talk to the pharmacist. They will give you every assurance, and then fail to follow through.

Wanted to return some empty cans of red bull that I bought from the store, as required by MCL Section 445.572(4). The worker had no idea how, and the manager said that all of the bins they used to use to return the cans were removed a while ago with no instructions on how to return them. I only had 8 or 9 cans from my car. I'm not sure why Walgreens is not following the law on this matter.

Problems every time, is why stopped going here several years ago. Prescriptions not ready, lengthy wait times, old male pharmacist incorrectly trying to tell me government employees can't get certain prescriptions filled with their insurance, having to drive to a different location to get prescription filled. Inability for them to find prescriptions inside, refusing my card inside, overcharging me on transaction inside & not knowing how to void it out and refund me.Unfortunately, recently, doctor made mistake & sent prescription to this location. Now they are no longer 24 hours & they don't tell you on the phone, when speaking directly to them, that they are currently closed & are closed every day, midday for lunch, apparently. So then you must sit there again, until the pharmacy reopens at 2pm. Need to update their hours of operation on google, to reflect the daily closing hours.Sign in drive thru doesn't explain anything, just that no pharmacist is there; looked like it was closed that day. Fortunately staff member came to window & explained.

Wafa is the best. I used to live around the corner, but I recently moved about a half an hour away. I still come down once a week to see wafa because she’s so sweet and kind and helpful!
