I have now been sitting in line at the pharmacy drive thru behind the same 2 cars for over 30 minutes. I have watched 3 vehicles behind me pull off. Is it supposed to take this long to fill a prescription?

Honestly what can I say about the pharmacy situation? If you get a chance to be hired at the pharmacy location RUN! The staff is horrible with the exception of one or two decent workers. You have one of the pharmacist Faye who is constantly on the phone and whenever you want to ask her a question she acts like she doesn't see you? What kind of a pharmacist is that who spends majority of her time on the phone and just chit chatting. And then you have a pharmacy technician Lubna who is just as worse. I don't get the management and how they can still keep her around. She is RUDE, VERY INCONSIDERATE, and has no concept of manners. She is a literal joke. She should get a job where she has no human interaction whatsoever because that is exactly what she lacks. I talked to other people that I know are/were pharmacy technician and they said the job is great BUT its the people you work with that make the position a living hell and I have witnessed it being there for almost 2 months and having 2 breakdowns because NONE of the team can work together. So do yourself a favor and save yourself the sanity of avoiding people like Lubna and Faye. I work as an MA now and I LOVE it. Whenever i hear people send prescriptions there I tell them to find another pharmacy because that pharmacy is a shit show to begin with

Always a great place to stop in for some emergency grocery items.
We live right near this Walgreens and it's been a great place to stop in and get some quick grocery items. Some common items that we come in here for is milk, juice, chips and different kinds of health & beauty products.
In typical fashion, for whatever reason, there's a CVS right across the street. We definitely prefer coming into this Walgreens for the needs mentioned above.
As of recent, they have a new layout for their check out area to help with the social distancing aspect. There's new registers and more wide open space to checkout.

I have utilized this pharmacy for approximately two years because it's the closest pharmacy to my home in Royal Oak. The pharmacy has almost never failed to disappoint. Today I picked up a boatload of prescriptions for my family member who needs extensive medications. After being assured by the attendant that all of the prescriptions submitted by my family's physicians were included, I returned home to learn that one prescription had been omitted. After a call was placed to the pharmacy, they filled the prescription, which was called in two weeks ago. Walgreens makes Costco look like the All-Star team, even though Costco only has a small pharmacy to accommodate its customers. I will avoid this pharmacy to the extent possible in the future. Costco may be further from home, but they generally get it right the first time, eliminating the need for two trips in one day because of a SNAFU in the Wahlgreens pharmacy. It hasn't happened once or twice. It's happened almost every month for two years. Enough is enough. I am out of there.

Despite that I called this place during an incredibly busy time, not only did someone promptly answer the phone and request that I hold - they also were extremely helpful and had everything I needed after the brief hold. They know their stuff, and they work quickly and efficiently. I literally had called 10 other pharmacies to check for my scripts just before this, and they all took 10 to 15 minutes just to verify whether they had it!! (They didn't! Lol) The lady I spoke with was able to confirm inventory in less than 3 minutes - clearly people trying to do their job here, not just milk the clock.

I've been trying to get a prescription transferred to this pharmacy for 5 days. Every day I go to see if it's ready and each day it's a different person who tells me they have nothing filled and that they need to call the other pharmacy and have it transferred. Absolutely ridiculous. I would call myself and do their jobs if I could. I do not recommend this pharmacy.

I want to be clear that this review is for their pharmacy department. Not only have they consistently given me partial prescriptions, but when I received a full order it had 3 different names on the label, none of which were mine. Honestly I didn't even care once I had the bottle since I know my medication, but now they are giving my mom trouble and HUNG UP ON HER. In my opinion, there are too many people at that pharmacy and few of them know what they are doing. I'm planning on going to Costco or CVS in the future because this is ridiculous.

I want this to be clear that this does not reflect the store associates who have always been friendly and helpful. This review specifically is regarding the pharmacy. I had filled all my scripts here for years before the slow service, lack of attention and poor communication forced me to have my scripts filled elsewhere. Today was the last time I will go in the store. I just left a doctors appointment following up on foot surgery and removal of 20 stitches. I am still in significant pain due to this. I stopped to get all over the counter products & had a question about one. I stood at the consultation window for 30 minutes as the pharmacist stood next to me filling scripts for people that were not there and 5 techs walked around scanning bottles and assisting the drive through. Not once was it acknowledged that I was standing there or asked what my question may be. They all just repeatedly walked past me while avoiding catching eyes with me. I understand that you get busy sometimes and also that your work requires concentration, however as someone also in medical services this was completely unacceptable. I will now literally go out of my way to avoid this store.

The pharmacists are inept at communicating and lie to you. I needed a prescription and wasn't told until I got there that they were running out and could only give me a partial fill. I came back when they told me to 5 days later (and over the phone 30 minutes beforehand they confirmed that my prescription could be filled now), and then they tell me that my prescription is still out of stock and to come back tomorrow. I call again today and they tell me that my prescription cant be filled for another month, mind you that I need to take this daily. I never got any notifications about this, and only found out when I asked. I understand that it isn't their fault for being out of stock but telling me different stories 5 separate times is just being bad at your job. Screw this place.

Love this place because my photos are always ready when I arrive. Only downfall is there is *never* anyone in the photo department when I go in (varying times of the day). Shouldn't have to wait this long for an employee to acknowledge me.

People who work there are very nice considering their store manager is so bad at customer service!
