My Husband and I had a great experience here at Visionworks. Prior to coming in I spoke to an associate who helped me set up our appointments along with the steps needed to using the registration portal which was very easy to navigate. Upon entering Visionworks the day of our appointments we were greeted by Lakeisha who then explained the step by step process in what to expect during our appointments. Both Lakeisha and the other associate working with us were extremely helpful throughout and very patient with answering all of our questions. They were both very friendly and very knowledgeable. Lakeisha even helped me choose the right look for my eye glasses when I became indecisive with trying to decide on the right ones. We did an interactive video conference with the doctors which I have never done before but was quite impressed with how efficient and innovative that experience was. All and all our experience at Visionworks was excellent and stress free:) Thank you to both of you!- Kiera F.

We recieved great customer service at this location. We have also received excellent customer service at the Southfield Visionworks! Customer service staff, Dr. Parker and Dr. Roy are knowledgeable, professional and caring.

Expect to pay around $90 for an eye exam, even with good insurance. Won't even allow you to order contacts through them because they are "back ordered." I would suggest going anywhere else for eye care.

Had a great experience with the whole staff and the doctor. They were all friendly and helpful. Not only was the eye exam cheeper then what a competitive was offering but included all the same services. The doctor also pointed out a potential issue that I have a follow up appointment scheduled for that I am actually looking forward to going back to.

I don't write many reviews, but I had such a pleasurable experience at this Visionworks that I am leaving a rating. Staff Bryant and Summer were super friendly and helpful. Dr Roy was also very kind and transparent. Overall had a quick and smooth appointment. ?

I'm not at all thrilled.When I ordered two pair, a metal and a plastic, the person named Summer (Sommer?) was helpful, knowledgeable and quite pleasant. She was equally pleasant when I picked up the glasses.But... After using the metal pair for a few days, I could not focus at near and mid-vision. (Lined trifocal) I returned to have them checked & the Visionworks person said the center of vision was mistakenly placed too low. She was helpful about getting them replaced. (Can't remember her name. Nice person).Life's Good? Nope...One lens keeps falling out of the plastic pair. When I went to pick up the replacement for the mis-cut lens pair, after being ignored for about 12 minutes, asked the Visionworks person (name unknown) to check the plastic pair. I guess one is not supposed to ask such things in today's society.While appearing quite annoyed, I was rudely told "There's nothing I can do about it."Huh? Nothing? I'm stuck with a falling out lens? Forever?I was handed the glasses back with her fingerprints so smeared on the lenses, that I could not see out of them.Part Two: When I picked up the replacement for the mis-cut lens metal pair, it was: "Here" , as I was handed the glasses.End of interaction? So she thought...I was not asked to try them on for fit. I had to get the person's attention and ask to have the ear pieces bent to fit. Again, she simply handed me the pair and walked away. (No other customers were in the showroom waiting for her during my entire "visit" so it was not like she had people clamoring for her attention.)I also wanted to test the vision. The person said "I don't have a reading card" and she walked away.Bam! Case Closed! You're Out! Dismissed! We Don't Care!My Plan: A) Go to another VisionWorks and ask to have the falling out lens pair fixed. B) Never spend any money at Visionworks again.And Here's A Hint:Since Covid-19 cases are increasing, influenza is rampant and respiratory syncytial cases are at record highs in this area, when the customer comes in with a mask on; the employee(s) should don a mask. It is common courtesy- and helps protect the customer and anyone with whom she or he interacts later.Any Good Stuff?Yes, the lenses on both pair now work fine- except for the falling out part.And:I got to explore the grocery store in that strip mall since I had to go there to wash the clerk's fingerprints off the lenses so that I could drive.Live and Learn!

Keyona and Summer were wonderful! I had an issue with insurance and they quickly worked through it. Got me in and out in a timely fashion. I also came back to change the lens’s I originally picked. They switched them out for me same day with no hassle. Always had a smile on their face accompanied with a good attitude. Dr. Roy was professional and knowledgeable. He had me try on new contacts which ended up being more comfortable and affordable in the long run. If I could give this spot 10/10, I would. Excellent customer service!

Great place. Staff is professional and helpful. They explained to the details the aspects of each eye test they make. Doctor was also careful and didn't hesitate to spend time trying different contacts options for my needs.
