This was my second time using uBreakiFix. Both experiences have been very positive. Today I needed to have the screen replaced on my iPhone 14 pro. James provided excellent assistance, particularly given that my screen was crushed in a way that made getting necessary info from the phone a challenge. I appreciate the high level of customer service I received— and that I saw James and his colleague (vinnie I believe) extend to other customers as I waited for my phone to be ready.

I had an accident with my phone and required me to file a claim with my insurance. We worked directly with a Jacques, our tech was Vinne, and the whole process couldn't have been more smoother in and out in less than an hour. Would highly recommend

Stopped in today to see if they could repair the cord on my laptop charger. The guy behind the counter was not interested in helping me or talking to me. He told me the job was not worth his time and it would probably cost $100. I guess he didn't want to make $100, so I left. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and will not return.

Took two phones in for battery replacement.Made an appointment via phone several days earlier to make sure the batteries were in stock. Also gave complete information to make this repair in MY name rather than my wife's.On the morning we dropped off the phones I AGAIN put the repair in MY name and provided my email address so they could let me know when the phones were finished.I was told that repairs would take about 4-5 hours, but waited 7 hours before borrowing a phone and calling to check. I was then told that the phones had been ready after only 3 hours and that I'd been emailed and also my WIFE (who was working all day) had been called and a message left with HER.Checked my email again, and there was still no sign of any notification.Went to pick up the phones, and paid for each separately. Paid for one phone first, and that seemed to go fine, but when I went to pay for the second phone (why separately??) I inserted my chip card into the reader and an error popped up that the card couldn't be processed.The card info was entered by hand, and this time the transaction went through.The phones looked fine and the batteries performed like new, so there was no problem until I saw on my banking app that I had been billed TWICE for the second battery.I called up UBreakIFix and explained that I had been billed an extra time but was informed that no manager was on site, so I'd have to come back later. A day or so later I dropped in and was told that without a receipt for the second phantom repair I couldn't GET a refund (HUH?), and that I would have to get my bank to reverse the charges. The UBreakIFix system wasn't equipped to do returns without some long, drawn out hassle.I couldn't request a stop payment through my banking app, so I had to make a separate trip to the bank and talk to a manager who suggested we handle it by contesting the charge rather than filing a stop payment, because THAT would cost me $15.So now, 5 days later I see the extra charge has been returned to my account, and I have started getting friendly emails fromUBreakIFix about customer satisfaction surveys and helpful tips for phone owners to increase battery life, etc.When it came to the actual work on the phones this place did a good job, but in terms of followup and notifications and billing they failed on several levels. I suspect that this is a case of a business using their technician employees to run all aspects of the business like billing and clerical duties rather than pay another person to handle the non repair duties I plan to look for some other business to handle future repairs.

I walked into this location reluctantly as I've previously had a horrible experience at the Van Dyke location and vowed to never visit another uBreakiFix ever. Immediately James was attentive and personable. I was replacing the screen on a 9th gen iPad. It was affordable and he made it a point to get it back to me quickly! I look forward to doing business with them in the future!

Jacque did a great job of assessing my problem. He was attentive, professional and friendly. I had my fixed iPhone XS Max back in my hand within 1.5 hours for a very reasonable price too!!! AMAZING!

I just left uBREAKiFIX on Woodward in Royal Oak Michigan. I was distraught, having had planned to leave for a 9 hour car ride to see my father in the hospital.I went to Verizon and found out Assurion will pay for the fix on my damaged phone. Fortunately, they directed me to James, at uBreakiFix. I went in thinking this could take all day. But no, even without saying my terrible story James had my phone fixed in about an hour 1/2.. I cannot thank him enough! Courteous, professional and very knowledgeable he had me out the door. He was also able to tell me a price for a fix on an iPad that I haven't been able to use for months. Very reasonable. I highly recommend this store!!

This is an excellent service to work with. Customer service is impeccable. The whole process is seamless from the time you walk in for a repair until you pick up and leave with your product. Very knowledgeable and pleasant.

The team at the Royal Oak location were friendly, customer focused and extreemly proficient. I had been to Southfield and Troy both of those experiences was like being in hell. The manager in Troy even snubbed the AT&T service manager and the insurance manager. Royal Oak was outstanding... They saved my account and may win my business account back to AT&T.
