Brought my car in because I thought my water pump was leaking because I was losing power steering and I lost acceleration that I thought was from a failed solenoid issue I had in the past. Turned out it was a blown head gasket I tell them while they're in there to replace the driver side solenoid just because you're already taking out the timing belt and I had an old one in the car in a box of they needed the part number. Misunderstanding they tried to put on the old one, not a big deal if it's a problem in the future I'll deal with it. I pick it up and I'm told that the transmission fluid pump is leaking and needs to be fixed. Nobody told me this. I call back and say I'm annoyed that I wasn't told and they were already in there so why not let me know so we can do it then I'm told "well we told you that's why your power steering was acting up" they mistook the conversation over the solenoid for that. I explain I told it was the head gasket they said "the head gasket would never mess with the power steering" what? That can affect the entire engine I've worked in shops before this happens. I was going to leave 3 stars but having to argue that was nuts

Unlike other shops, they insist that you bring your own parts. I bought an brand new, industry standard door handle for them to install. A year later I need to jimmy the door or enter from the passenger side, as the part is not seated correctly in the door (it rattles around). The lock cylinder has recently fell into the door frame.

This was a AAA reference because my control arm broke. They did fix it and the cost wasn't bad and I got a AAA discount. They offered to do an oil change because my light was on and I said sure because it would save me time. However, when I picked up my car the light was still on, there was no sticker change, and when I checked my oil it was empty. When I called to try and get it fixed it was after hours with no voicemail. They also are closed on the weekend, which was fine for me in this scenario but in any other I would've had to get a rental to get to work.

I just took my truck in to have a head light replaced. They charged me $411 and didn’t put the covers back on top of the light to hid the wires. Call and they tell me sorry we don’t know what you’re talking about. There never was a cover. I’ve had my truck almost 17 years I know my truck and I know I had covers. They are sloppy and over priced. I will never recommend to anyone.

Alternator died and tow truck driver Anthony contracted out through AAA mentioned this place - they were able to get everything replaced same day and not too crazy price wise. Thanks!

Had a great experience at this shop. Knowledgeable and honest estimates. My brake repairs were done well, thank you Rob and staff.

Really liked them and have gone to them multiple times until I went in yesterday and they strong armed me $750 for a remanufactured alternator for my 2014 Jeep. Unfortunate but there are honest mechanics out there and elsewhere.

I moved recently to a new area and needed brakes. The shop in my area gave an outrageous price. I made the drive back to Top Tech and they did the work quickly and the price was very reasonable. Wish they could move the shop to Livonia lol.
