“I very highly recommend Craters & Freighters - Detroit for shipping larger items like fine furniture. We had a teak dining table and 8 chairs (total weight of 420 pounds) that we needed to ship from Lansing, MI to Scottsdale, AZ. We initially tried to find a "less-than-full-load" moving company provider that could add our items to a load. No luck. We then checked with a package shipper. They advised us that they couldn't handle the items, but suggested we contact Craters & Freighters. We found that Craters & Freighters had offices in many locations throughout the USA. We contacted the Detroit location and spoke with Sandy. She was very helpful and professional in working with us to arrange the shipment. (We found that the rate was reasonable and comparable to the rates if we had found an acceptable "less-than-full-load" moving company.) When the shipment arrived, we were blown away by the quality of the packing. The shipment was contained in 3 large crates. The furniture was very carefully packed/padded to prevent damage. Once we unpacked the items, we found to our great satisfaction that they had made the long trip without incurring any damage. The end-point shipper contracted by Craters & Freighters - Detroit was XPO We were also very pleased with the quality of their delivery service. Dave, the driver for XPO commented to us that in his experience, Craters & Freighters provided exceptional service - noting that many of the art dealers in town frequently used them for packing and shipping artwork to and from their galleries. If you need this kind of special packing and shipping service, you cannot go wrong working with Craters & Freighters serving your community.”

“I wish I got the name of the person that helped me, this person had braids. I was exhausted and had one hour to get a bunch of expensive Amazon purchases returned and was having issues on the Amazon app. I was on the verge of tears when this amazing UPS STORE worker went above and beyond, asked to take over my phone and did stuff I didn’t even know about in the app. This person was cool and kind, ignoring/getting a nod to dismiss calls and texts washing away stress. Everything was taken care of including emailing and printing shipping labels.

“I was at this wonderful location today to sand ? to my mom in NY for Mother’s Day. So as I was waiting for my turn the Lady in front of me went crazy she started to doing stuff behind the counter, swearing yelling just because she have to pay service fee of four dollar I was totally shocked but the representative was behind the counter was very very professional. He handled it very well, and I thanked him for that he deserving a word I never seen anyone with that kind of patient in my whole entire life. He has a great customer service. “My company has just started getting into shipping out LTL and we've used various companies to ship out to our other locations. Any time I've contacted someone else, I've always felt like I was interrupting them. That is a different story today. I called Old Dominion and spoke with Kim Hedrick there to set up my delivery and then asked her a question about freight class and she was extremely helpful and took her time talking to me about they do freight classing items and sent me information that was able to help us out to better class our shipments. I greatly appreciate her taking her time helping.”

“Decent service, small retail space but all the postal amenities. Would recommend there are wait times when busy so expect some delays, limited parking, but people usually pull out fairly quickly. Street parking, handicap accessible but very heavy doors, so it may be limited access for some. Mailbox outside for easy drop off, but not a drive up style it's drop off, but you need to get out of the car to deposit your mail.”
