I had a consultation with Dr Jan about switching vets for my senior cat from a place I'd been going to for 19 years Making the switch because the other vet doesn't take care credit or payments And won't allow me to be in the room with my cat when they examine her which freaks her out because she is a mamas girl I wanted to make a switch Dr Jan was wonderful and spent at least 30 minutes assuring me my cat would get the attention and care she needs and she would not be whisked away during an exam I recommend highly

I cannot say enough good places about ROAH. They were the ONLY ones willing to take in my dog on a weekend when he was having a severe allergic reaction last summer, even after calling multiple Urgent Care Vet locations. Other places said we'd wait up to 6 hours just to be seen. Not ROAH, I called and they were able to get me in within the hour.It's a smaller practice, but the vets and assistants always give top notch service. I've been back for a few routine visits, and I won't go anywhere else!

We have been very pleased with the actual veterinary services we have received. That part is top notch. But it's a good idea to call first. It can be extremely frustrating to leave work early only to arrive during "business hours" to find the door locked.

Took my German Shepherd puppy in today for her first puppy visit. I had given this information when I called to schedule the appointment. The lady was less than kind but I figured she was just answering the phone and I wouldn't encounter the same unpleasant disposition in clinic; I called back to ask a question a couple days later about a follow up appointment because my puppy had been injured; the same unpleasant disposition. At this point I figured this lady was only answering phones. She always asked me which location I wanted to be services at as if I didn't call the royal oak office. She was talking to me like she was an answering service for the animal hospital. Walk in to the clinic for our appointment and the woman at the front desk was terribly unkind and dry to me and my daughter. She put us in a room with a paper to fill out and we waited for almost a half hour before being seen. She asked me why the puppy was wearing the cone and as I was telling her she closed the door. At some point the doctor comes in and we have about a 5 minute exam. When we were done we checked out to pay. She tossed my receipt on the counter and pointed to it. Didn't say thank you, have a nice day or even tell me when to schedule my puppy's next appointment. The "puppy exam" took less than 5 mins. I was given no further information other than wipe her ears out and to put drops in her eyes for the next few weeks. The vet was okay, he was a tad more personable than the front desk staff. but that was our first and last visit there. I will be looking for another vet that doesn't have an issue servicing me and my family. I wish I could leave a half star.

Regardless of the reason we need to go to the vet, the techs and doctors are always so kind and helpful. The lobby and orient rooms are kept clean as well.

I would give it 20 stars, the service is excellent, the staff is very friendly, the facilities are very good, the veterinarian who treated my Dunia is wonderful, it is clear that she loves her profession. I am very satisfied with this center.

I'm new in town and my cat is experiencing his end of life. I've met 2 vets here and they were both great, as is the staff. They were able to squeeze me in for an urgent visit, and they took the time to discuss end of life decisions. Highly recommend.
