I was eating a chicken croissant and found a large piece of plastic inside of the chicken salad. Needless too say I'm disappointed.

Pretty standard Meijer. I just did some grocery shopping here last night and got in and out of there just fine. It wasn't too crowded for 9 pm two nights before Thanksgiving. I just don't like this location though. Coolidge makes too many weird zags at major intersections and this stretch seems like a weird little hideaway, even if there's a gigantic strip mall across the street and just down the way. A secret Meijer seems absurd but that's how this one feels to me which you might think I'd like but for some reason I don't. And it makes me irrationally upset this Meijer faces sideways instead of facing out to the street. I even went so far as to give it a good look on Google Maps. I mean, I get it. They got a small airport and a block of development on one side and a DTE substation on the other so this lot is what they had to work with but it just bugs me. It's bad feng shui or something, beyond big box stores being bad feng shui in general. I also just discovered the tree line in back which of course is behind the side of the store is a little park with a nature trail that has no Yelp listing. So this Meijer review might be nothing special but looks like I can rack up another First to Review once I list that park and rate it.

So the hubby says We haven't been in this store for a couple years, let's give it a go. The greeter A+. The carts had to pull out 5 carts before we found one that didn't have trash in it. The bread aisle A+. Milk aisle C-, slim pickings on the shelf and all near expiration. There was a cart behind the refrigerators full of milk ready to stock, but no one stocking and not an employee to be found. The canned vegetables D - literally every French Cut green bean can was mangled to the point you would be afraid to consume the contents - yet they were all lined up in pretty little rows so you know some employee knowingly stocked them on the shelves. The fresh vegetables D. there were packages of mini cucumbers blooming with white mold. The checkouts, not a single non-self checkout open. There was a Meijer employee all decked out in blue Meijer shirt and badge obnoxiously talking on her cell phone in the self checkout line area about her baby daddy drama. She did take a brief break to make some nasty comments to a senior citizen who was trying to locate a free register and roll her eyes while commenting she had to deal with a dumb B. The self checkout D-, they must have implemented some software that trys to ascertain if someone is stealing. About every 5th item it would claim it needed assistance and the employee had to come over and review footage roll her eyes and tap a few keys. Excelling at multi-tasking the employee was able to continue her baby daddy conversation throughout our checkout experience. So done with Meijers.

Wish I could give them zero stars. Went to the deli counter today and was totally ignored by the two ladies behind the counter. One even looked at me twice and didn't say a thing. Stood there for five minutes until I got mad and left. I can understand if you're busy, but to not even acknowledge your customers is just bad service.

There's no way you should be serving your customers food this old. People will get sick. That is macaroni and cheese it looks unidentifiable and the chicken wings the meat was hard dry and stuck to the bone you can tell this food has been in the warmer since this morning. People will get sick Monday may 29th 4:02pm.

This is my favorite Meijer location. The checkout people are amazing. Everything is clean, everything is in stock, and it's a well-run store.

I love the look and feel if this store and even in holidays, there's never really a long line at check out. My one complaint is that they NEVER HAVE ANYTHING IN STOCK!! It's like they order enough for Friday and Saturday then say F-it to the rest of the week. That's not cool. How are you out of tomatoes on Tuesday, no bacon, fresh out of Marie calendar pot pies. And let's not even get started on items from the weekly ad. The ad night as well be a list of what NOT to order, cause you won't be getting a great deal of what's in there. It'll be out of stock. It feels like we're on lockdown again scavenging for food and supplies. I'll have to try another location

The only lanes open were self check out, Im old with back problems I would welcome the help. All out of sales items (in middle of sale) went to get a rain check customer service told me they do not do rain checks anymore after covid.

The store has gotten better over the last few years. It seems cleaner (no trash cans overflowing), there are actual cashiers so you don't need to self checkout , and items are in stock.

What the hell happened? This place is filthy. I'm not looking for a palace to shop at, but it used to be so well kept and clean. It literally looks like they've just stopped sweeping and mopping. Especially in the corners and the walls. Second. There are no shopping carts. None. When I left I saw a dozen in the back forty. I guess if you want the convenience of a shopping cart, you walk back past your car and bring one in. Next, watch your dates. I picked up seven different products, including bread and milk, that were expired. Is it time to close up and start all over as something else? I believe we know what that means. Lastly, I'd like to comment on the staff. Problem is I never dealt with any. Pretty sure I saw a couple, but, I was totally self sufficient in this store. Inexcusable. We are through here. 01/23
