I paid $109 to have them tell me it would cost $1,161.43 to fix my Samsung refrigerator ice maker and valve. I was astounded. He never did tell me exactly what was wrong other than "Samsung bad", or words to that effect.
The problem? It needed to be defrosted! It's dispensing ice and water like a champ now. Total cost? $0.00.
Trust is everything in this business, and they lost mine.

I just had my oven fixed by Paul. He was genuinely friendly and helpful. He took the time to show me what was wrong and even how he fixed it. He was significantly less expensive than everyone else I contacted (and I mean significantly). There is no question that I'll use them again.

Paid an outrageous amount to have refrigerator door hinge replaced, a 15 minute job. They told me up front that there is an $89 service charge to come out to your home. This charge is usually waived when a company gets to do the job. Whatever parts and labor will cost you, Berkley Appliance adds an additional $89 to each job?!! How is that good pricing? Won't use them again.

BERKELEY I deeply apologize for confusing your business with GOBIE. Thank you for your professional prompt response regarding my error. Sadly Google is responsible for directing me to your business. Please update your business info on Google. I have zero words to express my disappointment. Washer cabinet was not put back and they added a screw to hold it in place. Wrecked my washer it is older but it is well cared for other than minor repairs. This is a complete let down I feel like consumer appliance customers are treated completely LESS THAN! YOUR OTHER CUSTOMERS. I had to Google who GOBIE appliance belongs too. BERKELEY and GOBIE ARE ONE IN THE SAME. my review is completely by accident I lost ring behind washer that's the only way I would of caught this unprofessional and unacceptable repair.

Top notch outfit - I reached out to them about a mold issue I was having with our Samsung washing machine and, instead of selling me on an expensive service call and an unnecessary repair, was told how to remedy the situation myself. Six months later (after I finally did what was suggested!) I called again to get a refresh on the advice on how to keep the appliance mold free. I can't say they did a great job doing an installation or repair since they didn't actually perform any service, but there is no way I will reach out to anyone else when something does go wrong! This is the right way to do business - strongly recommend! Thank you so much for being a stand up company!

Great people. Honest and competent.
Paul fixed my dishwasher and when it broke again, he fixed it again and warned me that it’s only a matter of time until it fails for good. He committed to refunding me because of that.
It’s really hard to find people who are so friendly, competent, and straightforward. If I have any appliance issues again, I know exactly who I’m calling.

Sent out a technician who clearly was not knowledgeable about washing machines, he did not correctly diagnose the problem was at our home twice both times leaving the washing machine full of water that we had to empty. Charged a 100.00 and not the 75.00 that was quoted. We had to move on to another company to have the problem resolved.would NOT recommend

Best experience I have had with a home repair company. Paul fixed my dishwasher and proactively corrected a water hammering issue that I intended to hire a plumber separately for. I cannot recommend them enough

An absolute nightmare! The only reason I am giving three stars is because the tech was professional and polite during the first visit. There was a 4-5 hour window.
1st visit- Tech comes to repair my dryer and I was his last appointment. I had to leave and he was kind to come out for a second visit.
2nd visit- Tech comes and repairs dryer timer and said “you’re all set.” Total was $100 for service call and repair.
Dryer still did not work.
- Called and explained that the tech had just left and the dryer was not working. Rep called to reschedule.
- Attempted 3rd visit- Tech called the rep and said that he was not coming to my home because I need a timer. First time hearing about a timer. I was told about the cost of the timer and was livid because no one ever mentioned the timer. The rep was rude and said that the tech tried fixing the dryer the easy way. I didn’t want easy. I wanted my dryer repaired. Ordered the part and rescheduled an appointment.
4th visit- Tech called and I missed his call for the visit today. Called the office and was told that the tech is no longer coming to my house and that another one would need to come. Rep said that I could potentially be charged another $89 service call fee because he tried to come to my home and I was not there.
All of this could have been avoided, if the tech would have fixed the issue the from the first visit. They also said that no one was home. My son was there and did not hear a knock or doorbell.
$100 down the drain and 2 days off of work for nothing.
I read the reviews and was impressed, but now I’m stressed out with trying to repair a dryer after a month of this.
Save yourself the headache and time.

Their customer service is awesome. I actually enjoy calling them for how nice and helpful they are. They schedule me promptly and took care of my problem.
