Paul and Jim are great! They offer some of the finest customer service of any HIFI store. Highly recommend! they treat everyone with respect and spend a tremendous amount of time to educate their customers regardless of budget. No one can set up a turntable better than these two!

Paul I'm sorry . You used to be number one. Please invite me back when you get a new location and more choices of equipment I will adjust the review. This place will fix broken equipment and can order you any brand they sell. Problem is money situation effects us buyers . I think it's effects what people carry in stock . I was looking for something it would make no sense for Alma's to carry in stock just to costly to gamble if nobody bought it. This store is much better then any store in the area for hifi you can get a nice set up without breaking the bank. I like the equipment that most people have to sell there car to own . First I want to see them in stock and hear them before I hand out 10or 15k for a set of speakers .

First time in the store I was looking for advice on preamplifiers for a turntable. They could have gave me a sales pitch but Paul was straight with me and told me what I might want to do in the future. When that time comes I will be back. Thanks for being professional.

Called numerous so called hi-fi shops around town in search of a cable adapter for my new amp with no luck. Most didn't even know what I ws looking for or care. Paul immediately knew what I was looking for and had them on the shelf. He was SUPER helpful and informative. I only spent $25 today but he treated me like I was spending $1000's. Almas has been a staple in MI for many years and I can see why with such stellar customer service...............

Paul and Jim brothers are very nice and explained me a lot about spakers, I found them through Kef website. They both have a great knowledge!, they don’t push you to buy stuff like others do! If possible please encourage local businesses!

Wanting a warmer sound from my gear and, initially, intending on purchasing only new front speakers, Paul and Jim took their time to guide me from the starting to the finish line - ending up with a new center channel and rears, as well as a new receiver over the course of a few months. I couldn't be happier with the result. Can't believe how it made my vinyls sound, as well ! Purchased a TV antenna as well. Great antenna but inadequate installation. Had a local antennae guy remount the unit - so minus one star.

Blow away buy the customer service. Didn't know what to expect walking in. I just needed some cartridge screws but Paul took the time to ask me my setup and make some great recommendations. These guys deal in affordable audiophile equipment and seemed to carry reputable brands that most people could afford and enjoy. Needless to say, I'll be back. Oh, and they carry a fair sized collection of carefully selected vinyl. When I talked to Paul, it sounded like they were working on getting in some other really great stuff. Looking forward to my next visit.

Found Almas through the Kef website. Ended up buying a pair of Kef Q750s. Paul was very helpful throughout the entire process. Was able to listen to the 750s before I bought them and compare them to other speakers as well.If you want a store that knows what they're talking about and can steer you in the right direction, this is the place.

Got a pair of Kef LS50 Meta Bookshelf speakers. 10/10 recommend these guys. They know their stuff.
