I was followed around this store by a private security guard. I guess he assumed that I was going to steal something out of the store. I told the store manager about it. She was in total denial about it. I was so ticked off by this that I called Kroger's customer service number regarding this store. To complain about how I was unfairly treated.

I am a very simple person. I shop like everyone else. But as soon as I lose a receipt than that's when all hell breaks lose. I tried to return two items that came up to about $14-$15, but I told the woman I lost my receipt even though I was going to shop anyways. She gave me a nasty look and pretty much made up rules to where I couldn't return my items. I understand me not having the receipt but for the nasty looks and remarks I felt profiled and less than. She returned a fellow patrons items without a receipt with no problem (who was a white woman) who came with me just to make sure. I felt racially profiled and Michelle and Heather made me feel super uncomfortable

Didn't know Kroger turned into a Ger store. I was in search of some spicy snacks after eating some sushi or at least something interesting or tantalizing to snack on after rolls. The desert section is pudding. They have a decent flower assortment and produce, but a half section aisle of chips and snacks. They didn't have the flamin hot cheese puffs I was craving after a cream filled sushi night.

Big store well stocked but an absolute b#@# at the self checkout lane. While waiting for her to finish helping a customer, she screams at me then at another customer that"she's only one person and I have to be patient". Made the mistake of buying a bottle of wine. Nobody said a word..obviously it's busy, 2 days before Christmas. And it's obvious that both myself and the other guy are wayyyyy over the legal age of 21. Yet got an attitude cuz I didn't have my i.d. out. Heard her ragging at the other guy ,too for the same offense. I work at a bar, if i told a customer that, I would be out on my but. And did I mention she had a Jesus head band on? A hippocrit to boot.

The Walmart of all Krogers. Seriously. Avoid. We placed a pickup order yesterday around noon (almost 9 months pregnant with a cold in the middle of COVID and no food in the house, so no I couldn't have just gone in myself, otherwise I definitely would have!) and received a pickup time of 6:00 P.M. Around 5:45 as we were getting ready to leave I got a call from the store saying that they were understaffed and hadn't even started our order, so I would have to wait until tomorrow. It was a little annoying that they waited so late to let us know but I just said thank you and brushed it off. No big deal. The next day rolls around and I gave them some extra time in case they were understaffed again. Checked the app for a substitution alert and saw nothing, so that was good. Around 2:30 I let them know I was on my way and headed over. When I got there I found that a small part of the parking lot was absolutely packed because apparently they were having the lines on the other end of the parking lot redone and had that entire section completely blocked off. At the other end of it was the pickup area. Since it was inaccessible and there were no signs, I parked and called the store. The woman who picked up the phone let me know that I had to do a turnaround to get out onto gratiot again, go past 13, do another turnaround, and get onto 13 so that I could go in their back entrance and that the girl who called yesterday should have told me that. Again, annoying but no big deal. I did what I had to do and finally parked. When the girl came out with my items and I rolled my window down, I didn't get a "Hi how are you today?" I got "God Im so sick of going back and forth for this. Did you see your substitutions?" In a very irritated voice. Everyone has bad days at work of course, and as I had been told yesterday they were understaffed. But I personally could not imagine saying this to a customer myself. Taken aback I told her that no, I had not. They were not sent to me. She proceeded to hand me a page and a half long list of substitutions that made absolutely no sense. Instead of tamales they gave me a can of chili, instead of french bread pizzas I got a bag of mozzarella cheese. Instead of sour cream I got cream cheese (a second one, as I had ordered one already). I mean come on now. They also were completely out of basic things of which there were multiple brands and didn't substitute, like honey wheat bread, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and shredded carrots. I told her what substitutions would not work and she sighed and took them out. I left and went home, and when I unloaded what I DID get I found 3 bruised bananas all separate in different bags, tomatoes with spots so soft my finger went through them, and cracked eggs. Yeah. Not happy.

Honestly, I don't feel like this Kroger is the worst. I go here often and generally can find exactly what I need. For the most part the shelves tend to stay stocked decently...with the occasional busy time periods as any other store happens to have. They tend to have a wide variety of what I look for and can have some pretty decent sales. The weekends and evenings get super busy but if you go during the day on a weekday it is pretty easy smooth shopping. I don't often encounter that many staff members as most of the time it's self check out, but the ones I do encounter seem nice enough at checkout. If you happen to go in store on stock day be careful because employees are definitely not mindful of shoppers and do tend to get annoyed you are in their way. The biggest complaints that I have about this store is probably the produce section. There are a lot of times when certain produce items have little to none of the product available for purchase or that the produce just doesn't look that great. Also, if I ever have any pricing issues upon check out it always seems to be with an item from produce. They could definitely do a bit better in that area.

I was there yesterday and literally saw a moldy package of cheese placed in front of the cheese. It looked liked it was put there intentionally as if to sell quickly. But it actually had green moldy spots all over it. I have purchased doughnuts at the same Kroger for a discounted price of fifty percent, which turned out to be stale! I guess this is common for Kroger? Just to make a buck? Just a warning...check the expiration date before you purchase!
