They don't don't clean the rooms! I had a 5-day stay and I can recall one-time that housekeeping knocked on my door. I notice coffee lids under the bed which I assume was from the previous guest who stayed. The carpet has stain all over! Please believe the BAD reviews.Rooms: Unclean and stained carpets....the bathroom smells sour!

I believe the past reviewers were from growing pains when the hotel was struggling with employees who didn’t care about the hotel or their job!I had zero bad experiences here! Staff was excellent, room was clean and in better condition than a lot of other Holiday Inns I had stayed with. I would ignore the bad reviews here and not hesitate to book the hotel.

My husband and I have been staying at this hotel since they opened about 4 years ago and loved it, from the staff to the overall experience and treatment we received. We came back from TX last week and were expecting the same results. Unfortunately the staff changed and so did the quality of our stay. Our deposit was dropped on the ground and almost lost as soon as we walked in the door. We extended our room in cash for 5 more nights had nothing but problems with the front desk, claiming on their computer we were checked out etc. The front desk management along with the employees were highly unprofessional through out and left us standing to wonder as they spoke to each other with out reassurance from the beginning that everything was fine. The only professional person in that establishment is the operations manager Landon. He deserves an award. Not to mention we were charged in the middle of the night on our card $142 when we paid cash days before this. We checked out Sunday at 9 am and they attempted to charge our card FOUR MORE TIMES. Stay at your own risk and only use cash. Again Landon is a life saver and has gone above and beyond to rectify the front desks mistakes.

The bathroom water faucet was incorrectly installed on the sink.The water ran back unto the counter, could not rinse or wash your hands because the faucet was to far back from the bowl area. Front desk workers disappears, when needed help, wasn't answering phones.. Didn't have a WOW experience here. Plus a negative also was -they charge you for breakfast. It was better at the Hampton Inn.

This place was my go to for the longest time. Stayed here so much I got close with management and some staff. Since they let go the manager Jessica. The place has gone completely down hill. From service to the cleaning staff it's all gone down hill. Last two rooms were so gross I didn't take my shoes off and kept them by the bed so I didn't have to walk on the floor. My car was also broken into and nothing was done about or even asked if I needed help. Sad because I stayed here once a week for the last year for work and probably won't stay again.

Bad experience. Seemed like everyone who worked there had no idea what they were doing. When it was time to check in- check in is at 3 we checked in at 8- went to the front desk and they gave us our room. Went to the room and the room wasn't made up. It was dirty. Went back downstairs to get a new room. They gave us a new room and there were people in it! My key worked and I walked right into the room with people in it. At this time I was so frusterated I walked downstairs and had a manager walk me to my new room. 3rd times a charm. The next morning I went to the pool and there were dirty towels everywhere. No clean towels and the pool was dirty. Still waiting for my refund which I am going to call about after this review. Seems like everyone there always blames it on the "system" where honestly they don't know what they are doing. Will not be staying there again.

I have read reviews from others for over a year on this propertyNot sure ? why everyone is downgradingIt’s a beautiful brand new build…. Staff is more than accommodating…. We’ve never had a issue here… stayed for years down the street at their original locationHats off folks you do a great job !!

The room was nice, till I woke up to get my face kicked in by an army of ants! They were in the bathroom and got into our food. They gave us 500 point and that’s not even a free night. And it takes two weeks before you get a deposit back and all the operating manager do is sit there and lie… I’ve been waiting for the district manager to call me back for three days. Still have not got a return call yet unless you like ants don’t go here.

It was a perfect stay, I still dont know what hotel these 2 and 3 stars reviews about , bugs, the smell of weed, dirty rugs came from , but I promise you it's NOT true. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and friendly...the room was comfortable, and really clean .The breakfast was amazing. If I wasn't so tired, I would share more , the location is minutes, from Dollar Tree ,Walmart, beauty supply, liquor store next door, gas station next door and a host of restaurants, it is about 40 minute from the airport but those hotels are not as safe, just to share. It's also right off the highway .. With no noise from the highway. I was really impressed.. Kudos to Jessica for helping make my stay the best, i wrote her in advance explained. I have severe breathing issues. I humbly requested early check-in, and she made sure I was able to get my treatments done as soon as I got there, i was told she was no longer there, but she is the reason i decided to stay at yhis hotel just to let yall know, thanks JessicaRooms: Awesome

When we first arrived at the hotel, there was a line up of about 10 guests with only one lady manning the desk (there was another lady there, who stayed in the back room instead of helping to clear the backlog of customers). When it was our turn the receptionist was less than friendly, and it was very obvious this was quite literally the last place she wanted to be.The next morning we went down for breakfast 1.5 hours before it ended to be told that they had run out of food.Overall - the room was nice. The location suited us well, but the staff left little to be desired.

Definitely was a regret-able stay. I have been booking holiday inn express rooms for about 3 years. I typically book the location in Warren Michigan but decided to choose a different location for other services that this location provided. The manager was very rude and hostile. Myself and my family booked a total of 5 rooms and was given two different amounts for the incentive. Once I asked why was the price different, he responded with aggression stating that it’s never that way and his worker messed up and moving forward we will all be paying 100 dollars. Which wasn’t an issue but to be given the anger behind the employee’s mistake made our stay not very pleasant. I already was very considerate of the fact that I could not check in on time once I arrived. I had to be considerate to them because as the employer stated “they had a busy night before”, and I wasn’t able to check in until an hour later. Very rude and very unprofessional.

It's one of the best all-around hotel stays I've had in a while for $120. Everything is so high in price in the summer with little to no amenities. Stayed on Saturday. Beautiful room with a BeautyRest Mattress, absolutely comfortable. Hot breakfast included in the room had veggie/cheese omelets, turkey sausage, pork sausage, all-you-can-eat pancakes, and so much more. The pool is open very early all the way to 11 pm. Felt safe in general with lit parking lot and security cameras. Thank you for a pleasant stay! We will stay there again if we're in the area.

This was probably the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The dining room and lobby was covered in dead bugs and the floors were so sticky that my shoes stuck. Nothing like wiping 30+ dead bugs off of your seat to sit down and eat breakfast… as far as our room was concerned, woof. Toilet flushed every other time it seemed. The handle to our sink wasn’t attached so every time you went to brush or wash your hands, it would fly off. Our carpet and bed skirts were absolutely trashed and the room vaguely smelled of cigarette smoke. Truly a rough experience. Only redeeming quality is that the staff was always very nice and friendly. Other than that- run away from this place.

The room was stained and dirty. Toilet paper holder was half hanging off the wall, we were missing a light bulb, missing our window shade, and there were red spots all over the carpet, lampshade, and bed frame. One elevator wasn’t running and a staff member said it was too expensive to repair so the hotel wasn’t going to have it fixed. There were dead bugs all over every window surface and floor, the floors were very sticky everywhere, and none of the toilets in our group’s rooms flushed well.
