“This is my go-to art supply store. But it is much more than that. The people who work here have become friends. They are honest, kind, friendly, cheerful, and very, very knowledgeable. You see, they are artists, too. They can not only help you with tools, media, materials, and accessories, but they are also familiar with all of the joys, sorrows, quirks, and craziness that go along with being an artist. They are encouraging and supportive. If you can't find it there, chances are they'll know where it can be had. Talk to them about the nature of your artistic experiments. They may have valuable tips. I can't say enough nice things about this store.Oh, wait. Yes, I can! They are the masters at framing. It might seem a bit pricey, but they certainly know their stuff and will not disappoint.UPDATE: The have recently redone the look of the store and are thriving better than ever under the new ownership! Some new employees have come to join the staff you have come to know and love. If you don't know and love them, it means you must not have visited this lovely shop yet! Well? What are you waiting for? Go see for yourself!”

I am not an artist and have never purchased any art supplies there, but I will never go anywhere else for framing. “Ordered for pick up for the first time to get a coupon. I went to pick up my order and was informed that any orders after 3pm are to be completed next day. I explained I didn’t see during the order processing but no big deal I’ll come back tomorrow. The associate asked what I ordered and she said no worries and completed my order in just a few minutes! Super helpful and friendly. She didn’t have to complete my order but did! Highly recommend this Joanns. great staff and wonderful customer service!”

“I couldn't find a fabric I had purchased before. I asked a salesperson who was stocking merchandise and she, Weam, immediately stopped and made it her "mission" to help me. The item was out of stock and discontinued. Without my asking, she looked for the availability at other stores. She also advised I could probably order it on line. She wrote down the item number & name and gave me the phone # for the nearest store that had remaining stock.
How refreshing to see a dedicated employee who goes out of her way to assist.
