Yes they were understaffed and there were long lines. That is corporate not the staffs fault. I appreciate the ladies who cut my fabric and those who checked out my purchases.
I have made many quilts with fabric from this store. Thank you. You will be missed.”

“This is my go-to art supply store. But it is much more than that. The people who work here have become friends. They are honest, kind, friendly, cheerful, and very, very knowledgeable. You see, they are artists, too. They can not only help you with tools, media, materials, and accessories, but they are also familiar with all of the joys, sorrows, quirks, and craziness that go along with being an artist. They are encouraging and supportive. If you can't find it there, chances are they'll know where it can be had. Talk to them about the nature of your artistic experiments. They may have valuable tips. I can't say enough nice things about this store.Oh, wait. Yes, I can! They are the masters at framing. It might seem a bit pricey, but they certainly know their stuff and will not disappoint.UPDATE: The have recently redone the look of the store and are thriving better than ever under the new ownership! Some new employees have come to join the staff you have come to know and love. If you don't know and love them, it means you must not have visited this lovely shop yet! Well? “I have had three things framed by Jean, starting in 2020, and most recently this month. The item this month was a baptismal record, over 100 years old. Jean gave it so much attention and care. I am not an artist and have never purchased any art supplies there, but I will never go anywhere else for framing. They do incredible work, and I love supporting an independent business in my home town.”

“I have always loved Dealers Discount sense I was a child going with my "Mommy #2" to buy ribbon for her candy making hobby. As an adult I am still just as in love with the store for a grate many of my needs but it has always been my go to shop for candles as they have a very reasonable price for the bulk votive candles. Carrying a variety of colors, sizes, and fragrance. I was just in the store yesterday doing some looking around and asked a very lovely young lady who's name I cannot remember or find where I wrote it down. Her name started with a J, but anyway. I had asked for more information on the heat resistant information on the glass containers they sell as I make candles and had bought roughly 150 containers last year marketed as votive candles holders that were amazing and a fantastic value but given circumstances likely also having to do with the trials and errors of candle making that a few had burned to hot at the end of the candles cycle and 2 containers had exploded. Anyway, she very quickly told me she did not know but promptly went to ask someone who did. She came right back with the unfortunate answer that they did not have that kind of metrics on the glass containers in stock. I was pleased that she still returned to inform me and then we had a very pleasant conversation. The staff here over the years have always been the most helpful going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction with all my needs, question, or concerns. I certainly hope they continue to always be helpful, friendly environment with some of the best values on a grate many things whether it be for an event I am involved in, my hobbies, and even just random needs or a new beautiful vase for flowers, and let's not forget the several isles of year round Christmas decor and such. I'd give you guys 10 ⭐'s but Google only allows 5. Keep up the amazing work and friendly service. ?”

I explained I didn’t see during the order processing but no big deal I’ll come back tomorrow. The associate asked what I ordered and she said no worries and completed my order in just a few minutes!
