Quick. Easy in, easy out, good prices, good food. Make sure to bring a quarter for your cart, and your own bags. Place is busy enough that they're usually out of the spare boxes to pack up items for transport.
Also, don't be a jerk to the staff. They bust hump behind the scenes, it's not a regular style of grocery store.

Don’t waste your money on raspberry bushes here, if you got a metro pass, go take a plant from Stoney creek because you pay for it and enjoy your day there, make sure to bring a small shovel to dig up the rhizome which is how the plant makes new plants for next year.

One star for the place that is so incompetent they allow people to cut in line and only have one cashier until there is a problem. Improve, cut the excuses. It wasn't this way a year ago

I was excited when this location opened up but was soon very disappointed. Most of the workers at this location are very disconnected unlike other Aldi locations. I have tried to do multiple pick up orders because of my limited mobility and 3 times they have caused me to have issues with those pick up orders resulting in not getting them and calling corporate. All three times showed my order being picked up next day by me but they refused to bring my order outside when I got there. I had to call corporate when I was there. Corporate was unable to get them on the phone and said no worries if the order is not picked up it will be canceled automatically, this is our policy. But each time someone in the store marked it as picked up by me and charged me for it and I had to reach out to customer service to have it reversed. I finally asked them to look into this because this was a pattern of them shopping my order and then refusing to bring it out to my car. I was physically unable to come inside to get the order and the reason why I pay the extra fee to come get the pick up order. I will no longer be shopping at this location.

The new Aldi on Gratiot is very nice! They have wider isles and the place does not seem cramped. I am usually pleasantly surprised with the quality of a lot of their products. Some people think that the products are inferior due to their lower prices. I have found that not to be the fact with the majority of their products. I would certainly recommend them to anyone. They have great products at reasonable prices. Give them a try if you have not already, I am sure you will like them and you will probably save some of your hard earned money too.

I typically love my Aldi whichever one I go to, but Aldi has been selling spoiled, overripe watermelons!
The price might be good, but when I get home and it's inedible that's no savings to me. If the gold spot is more white
that means it's old and overripe. Looking just now, I see some oozing juice at the stems...do better Aldi!!!
