Do not leave your car here!!! They drove my car while I was gone on my trip. When I asked why my car was moved the hotel attendant cussed at me and said I should be thanking her because another car got broken into. The shuttle took and hour to pick up when they kept saying 5 mins.Safety: Not safe at all

There is no shuttle service as they claimed. Do not risk your trip. Their answer always driver is on the way. It took hours.

I’m 6’-2” and the bathroom was tiny for my wife who’s 5’-4”. Included in the price of our stay was breakfast but nothing was available at time of check out. Being this close to the airport, you would think the Breakfast bar would be open at 5:00. I understand if they didn’t have a hot breakfast but it would have been nice if we could have grabbed some fruit, some pastries a bowl a cereal and some juice.

London at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. She was quickly able to find me a room after a flight delay.

The only reason I stayed in this hotel is because we missed our flight and this is one of the options Delta pays for. The hotel lobby is up to date and clean, and the people at the service desk were nice. The gentleman who runs the shuttle to the airport has exceptional customer service. The hotel itself, however, is extremely dated and smells of must. The carpet looks like it's in dire need of a wash and vacuuming and needs to be replaced altogether. I doubt how well these rooms are cleaned and if they're cleaned at all, as there was hair in the shower and noticeable dirt on the rims, eyelashes on the toilet, alongside sunflower seeds and mysterious stains on the bed frame that were hard to overlook. The laundry room is also 10° hotter than the rest of the building and needs to be cleaned. From what I can tell however, the bed itself is clean and comfortable and this is what is most important. Would definitely never stay here again (and certainly not if I was paying for it) but it works if you're in a pinch like me.

I genuinely wish I could give less than one star. Our experience here was a mess from start to finish. To start they took my keys which is whatever but it adds another layer on when I'm just trying to get home. Then the room was absolutely disgusting when we got there. There was trash visible on the floor and the bathroom floor was sticky. The absolute worst part though was the shuttle service. We had an international flight leaving early in the morning so we planned ahead and signed up for the 4am shuttle. The driver was 20 minutes late and super unapologetic about it. They only had a small van so people had to stand in order to get everyone in. Then we called to arrange a shuttle when our flight landed and they said they were on their way we called and asked for updates and the response given was "Well I said he's on his way so he's on his way". ONE HOUR LATER the driver pulls in and once again doesn't have enough seating for everyone. Seriously just don't with this one you'll be much better off.

Old hotel that can use lots of upgrading starting with the carpet throughout the entire hotel. Breakfast is not guaranteed as stated on the website. Went down for breakfast and was told there was no breakfast according to hotel cook. Front desk clerk did go to the kitchen and was able to find some frozen omelets and sausages for us. The kitchen cook was there and I'm guessing didn't feel up to her job that day and decided she wouldn't prepare breakfast for the guests.Ordered the wings the night before and I give them four stars as the wings were delicious!!!

3-1/2 Stars. Clean room, good desk clerk. Restaurant is average with limited menu. Don't count on receiving a requested wake up call,; set your own alarm. If transportation to DTW is needed, make arrangements with desk clerk when you check I.

Sent to this hotel by Delta Airlines because of a flight cancelation. First room smelled terribly like smoke (even though they claim to be a non-smoking hotel), so requested to be moved. Second room smelled only a little better. The room was filthy. Crusty things on the sheets, hair in the sink, the floors were stained and felt wet, the wallpaper was peeling off in huge chunks. Only one washcloth and hand towel in the bathroom. In the 'restaurant', got a watered-down drink and burnt food. Only positive thing about the stay was that it was paid for by Delta - but, even then, an overall poor experience. C'mon Wingate! Do better! Delta, please don't use this hotel, and make a bad travel experience even worse by sending your customers there!

Room we stayed in smelled like mildew, and had some type of bugs crawling/ no hot water, room was dirty, not to cleaned. Got moved to a different room and that room had unused open soap probably from the last person who occupied that room, overall horribleRooms: Horrible

If you have an early flight, it's a terrific location. Right across from the car rental return. And there's a gas station next door. Rooms are clean.

I stay here every time I have an early flight, travel with my daughters and need to leave my car at an affordable price. The rooms are clean, the shuttle service is always more than accommodating and the price is affordable.Safety: I've stayed at other hotels near the airport and this one feels safe and is quiet.

Shuttle available from the airport shared with other company.Van's name is VALET CONNECTIONS. Goes to the valet parking lot and then to the hotel. One particular driver was mad to tip him with 5 usd. He said, "Only 5?" Van was full, and we were the only one with the tip.

Some of the light bulbs were weak on 1 side of the room. The night-time motion light was too bright and carried across the room if you used the loo at night. Tub faucet was hard to turn on. Really had to pull. Tub tap dripped. Great cable TV. Personnel were friendly.Walkability: Easy to get around on first floor. Ice, etcetera easy to get at.

We requested a nonsmoking room. Although we were placed in a nonsmoking room the room smelled terribly like smoke. Also the shower in the bathroom was in bad condition. I will never stay at this hotel again!
