This place has "changed hands" I don't know how many times in the past 20 years. Typical "under new management" sign outside the building and a new Google account so the reviews are wiped. I picked up a used car and brought it there a couple of years ago because it needed the oil and trans fluid changed pretty badly. $30 for plain oil but then price jumped to $50+ for high mileage regular. There's barely $5 difference in price at the store and that's for a 5 qt.Trans fluid was dark again within six months. By that time, of course, they had "changed hands". Seeing as how I don't keep hundreds of extra dollars in my back pocket for repeat car repairs, I dealt with it until recently when I was at another mechanics and he said my pan was starting to rust. I bought a pan for $20, took it up there and he charged me $75 to do the job. Less than $100 and these idiots charged me over $200to put the WRONG fluid (hence why my car was doing a slight jerk between 1st and 2nd), and never changed the filter.The caveat is the people kitty corner to them, Moe's auto and Tire, own the building and are in charge of finding people to work there. But "Moe" no longer runs the business. I used them many times too but when he disappeared, it went straight downhill. I had taken it over there a few months after I had noticed the fluid was dark again, told them I'd been across the street, amd his response was "oh those people are gone now. They were doing a bad job." He then took a look at it and deduced I need a new transmission.Moral of the story:1. My trans is running great now, knock on wood that the first idiot didn't do permanent damage.2. Shop/patron AMERICAN.

I was there on Thursday 3/14 for an oil change. While I was leaving the garage door came down on my car which dented my roof and destroyed my antenna. When I called them to get a refund on my oil change they rudely said they wouldn’t do that but wanted to give me a free oil change only at their location. I told them that I am not from the area (I live roughly 30 miles away) but was only there for the day because of work. He continued telling me that he wouldn’t give me a refund. I believe I should get a refund plus payment for the damage done to my car.

Told them Twice to grease the front end while getting oil change. Went to another shop less than 100 miles later for tire rotation and none of the 6 zerk fittings had been touched. All joints dry without any grease. Vehicle has upper and lower ball joint, outer tie rod end and idler arm fittings. All were dry and untouched. Open your eyes when customer tells you twice

I have used this place before. Just went there for an oil change again. I have a 2021 Malibu lol 85$ hereI went to a place in Belleville and for the same exact thing it was 59.95 full synthetic.25$ difference is a little steepPricing seems a little off.Service: Oil change

Update : Spoke to the Owner he cleaned up oil and was very apologetic and offered me a free oil change next time.Thank you MoThe guy was nice BUT, This guy sprayed oil everywhere and then he complained about my previous oil weight that was put in car . He changed my oil weight then told me after it was done. He tried to clean up oil mess with some type of spray that changed a color of a vinyl panel under hood of car. He forgot to put my engine cover back on. It was a nightmare and I smell burning oil my windshield is all smudged. I lifted up hood and oil is all over wipers and everything under the hood. I work in Ann Arbor so I usually get oil changes up there. I won't be lazy anymore I will drive to Ann Arbor. It's worth the trip. I pray He didn't damage anything.This was a horrendous experience.Service: Oil change

I’ve been going to this Valvoline for 5 years now. The service is always excellent. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and honest with me if I am not in need a new filters or if an engine flush is needed or not, etc. 5 stars. I dont know much about cars and was nervous getting an oil change by myself. i pulled up and they immediately started helping me, they were bery nice and took very good care of my car. they even let me know what other things might need to be taken care of at my next oil change and even said theyd give me $20 off! they were so nice and also handed me a free air freshener! highly recommend and will for sure come back!Service: Oil change
