Very bad. From the cup of coffee to the room service, we stayed 3 days and every time I put a request to clean our room, their response is we don't have a staff to do the job, and so I did their job during my stay , I will never book with them again.

Stayed here before our trip to Cancun. Clean & comfortable. You do have to park across the street and ride the yellow bus to the airport. But it worked out great!!

I would never stay here again, the room I stayed in was disgusting, hair on the walls, stains on the chair, and black mold in the shower. I would not recommend.

The big plus was how close it was to the airport. There were a lot of things wrong with the room and the hotel in general. Things were falling apart. The ceiling needed repair on the 4th floor hallway. The chair in my room had no cushion left. The wall was chipped away in many places. A lot of the room had dirt and stains.

We got 2 rooms for our party. Both rooms were clean and up to date. Front desk guy when we checked in was super sweet and the other staff we encountered were all friendly, "Hi, how are you? Have a good day." The breakfast was the typical carby stuff with sides of fruit, scrambled eggs and sausage. All of it has been put out with care and looked nice. The coffee was pretty good. It was everything we wanted and needed.

Do not stay there unprofessional team members. Especially a black girl who was there at early morning. during check in the lady said we have muffins at early morning so when I went to the breakfast area there was no muffin. The black girl in very rude manner said we are out of muffin. Additionally the rooms are too small . Avoid this place. Waste money. The shuttle bus will be too late to get to the hotel and to go back to the airport. I checked they have very good reviews but they are fake. Much better hotel around there for a lower price and service.

Room smelled like a hamster cage. Seriously. TV was tiny and only gets about 10 channels that aren't sports. The beds were terrible. Way too soft and the pillows were hard as rocks. Honestly never complain about where I sleep but this was terrible. Staff were all really nice though so that definitely helps. Won't be back.

We had originally left a five-star review after our first stay, but unfortunately our return stay has altered that. Initially, what we really loved about this hotel was the staff, I see some reviews say that they are rude, but really it was more like they were real, they would joke around with us and we felt like we were with friends. We felt everyone from reception to housekeeping to breakfast service was just so funny and so relatable. And they were very understanding when we traveled with our dogs. But we recently went on a trip in which we stayed at three different hotels, this being the last one of our trip. We specifically return to this hotel because of our great experience the first time. We travel with our dogs, not because we're crazy dog people, but because we had a bad experience with a boarding facility and we just feel a lot safer having our pups with us. However, we do have to occasionally leave the dogs at the hotel for a few hours at a time so we always reach out to the hotels ahead of time to make sure this is okay. Obviously every hotel policy is going to say that you can't leave them unattended but people who are traveling are more than likely going to have to leave their dogs unattended for a short period of time occasionally. We talked with someone over the phone before our trip, and we made sure that they had our phone number. The first two hotels we stayed at we had great experiences and no complaints, we even had a couple of compliments about the dogs. But at this hotel, something must have set off our dogs, we found out later that there was a party in the room next to us, so we're thinking that might have had something to do with it, because I received a phone call that our dogs were barking. I received this call at about 9:45. I immediately returned to the hotel, where I found our dogs sleeping, so I figured whatever had happened must be over. My husband stayed at the venue his band was playing at, but I decided to stay at the hotel and get some rest. When my husband returned, his key card did not work so he went to the front desk for assistance. When he gave his room number, the person working started berating him about the dogs, going off about how we neglect our dogs and they've been barking from 3:00 until midnight, and that they were about to call animal control and all this other stuff. This really upset my husband, but it really upset me too because what they were saying wasn't true and they were making threats. We checked in at 3:00 and we were at the hotel for a bit, then I had to run my husband somewhere and I immediately returned. I didn't leave again until that evening. Once I receive the phone call from them, which was the only call I received, I left immediately and return to the hotel where I stayed for the rest of the night. I definitely got back long before midnight. Probably closer to 10:15. The next morning I met some of our neighbors and they were actually joking about the whole thing and said they weren't even that upset they just wanted to make sure things were okay. One admitted to having a lot of people over and being loud. I completely understand why the hotel staff needed to address this and I completely agree that they should have and it is something that we would make adjustments with in the future with our travel. This was the first time we ever had an issue with them barking. But what I don't understand is why the person at the front desk yelled at my husband hours after this had already been resolved, I mean my husband didn't get back to the hotel until after 1:00. Or why they had to lie, and make threats to have our dogs taken away and accuse us of being neglectful owners. It was absolutely bizarre and unprofessional. What stinks is everyone else that we interacted with was so wonderful, but this person was just so cruel that we can't justify returning. The following morning I apologized to the other staff for any trouble that we may have caused and they didn't know what we were talking about, they said it

The swivel lock on my door in room 101 would not lock. It had been installed improperly - which means the previous one broke or had to be repaired. The room across the hall had the door lock or access was broken. Did not feel safe. Will not come back here, even though the rates are good for the Romulus - DTW airport area. Breakfast is good. Front desk was helpful. Not feeling safe in my room and seeing the one across the broken was a deal breaker. Already cancelled my next trip and will book elsewhere.Safety: Did not feel safe in room that would not fully lock.

The room seemed like it was not cleaned or bedding replaced after the previous resident. One of the beds was not properly made, the other had hairs on it.Mentioning it to the front desk, they just said they will inform the housekeeping staff about it..

I usually stay at the wyngate down the street but decided to pay the extra $ 10 to stay here instead, will not make that miske again. Rude staff when checking in, rooms are almost as good as the wyngate, not sure why its more money to be treated like garbage by employees but if you stay here dont try to inturupt the front dest person while they yell at someone on the phone. They dont like that.... just stay somewhere else, the wyngate down the street is a better expirience and its cheaper... what a nightmare this place is... also pool is "permantly closed" lolRooms: Not great

Don't let the lobby fool you. The rooms smelled. The beds suck. Totally disappointed in the stay. We booked on 2 different occasions. Hoping the second time we'd get a better room with a better bed. Nope. This last, and final stay I bumped into the morning housekeeper and complained about the smell. She did a good job. But that was after having to deal with a funky smell overnight as well as having flies in the room. The first stay the room was on a different floor, but still smelled bad.The gag is the lobby is nicely done the front desk people were all nice for the most part. But if you cant get a good night's sleep at a hotel then what's the point? I think they need to invest in respectable beds and fire a few housekeepers.

Clean bed. Somewhat big. Weird old dated decoration. Smoke free room that smelled heavily of smoke. Dirty shower. Great for 1 night and business. Would have liked a better option that was decently priced but this was 122 a night and it got me off a pinch. other states have quality places for the same price and it’s way nicer. Low key disappointed but it will do for now.Rooms: Old. Smoke free room that smelled of smoke.
