155 W Main St, Mecosta“This is a mom-and-pop convenience store with a flare of general store to it, as well as a takeout restaurant with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The food is always surprisingly good, basic options with some charming touches (the taco salad pizza). There are so few places to grab a bite around here without driving all the way to big rapids, we are so grateful to find this hidden treasure with a “hole in the wall” style takeout joint. We love riding our bikes here and grabbing a bite to eat with some Gatorade to rehydrate! We haven’t tried the pizza yet, but definitely will. Just a little gem in the heart of Mecosta with the best prices around, you cannot beat Woody’s value and unassuming small town charm. Photographed here are the chicken tenders and really good hand cut fries.”
“East Bay is a typical country store. Friendly neighbors for staff and everything you need. Pull up from the road or ride in from the lake. Either way.... East Bay will not let you down. Walk in beer cooler and ice cream counter have never disappointed. Bait, gas, ice, firewood, tackle, groceries, lunch, beer, tools, hardware. Somehow they find a way to keep it all available and orderly. This is my happy place on a summer night.”
“My neighbor suggested this store to me for both of us to stock up provisions before the next big snow storm in Mecosta, and I go to Shell's for my gas but never ventured across the street to this gem. A true hidden valuable gem. Fresh food, vegetables and excellent Customer Service. I will be back soon. Ty”
“Hello Miller’s Bakery! My husband and I stopped at the jerky store on M 46 last week. I noticed they had some toffee bars with cashews that were covered in milk chocolate. Looked too good, we had to get some. We were not disappointed!! Wow, so fresh, and tasted so good. I was in heaven! We are from the Chicago area. My Father passed away a few weeks ago and we’ve been traveling back and forth to Midland to settle his estate. Just want you to know that it was a little treat that brought comfort. ?❤️?? God Bless You all.”
“Great store! Good prices, fast service, friendly staff. One of the biggest Dollar General stores ive ever been to. The downside is the entrance into the parking lot. It's on a large curve/hill on a 55 mph road. Also the building and sign set iff the road a bit. If you don't know its their it is very easy to miss.”

“I love this place. Its close to my cabin and has a great assortment if items that you need. Full line of groceries and household items. Seasonal items are also available. My only gripe is the isle layout. It can be a little confusing but the staff is very friendly and super helpful when asked to locate items. Thank you DG!”
