You got two types of bait shops, one tha myt want to sell u a lot of gear, and ones that want to help you catch allot of fish, this one is the best, they want to help u catch fish, they are absolutely a TOP tier shop, with knowledge, experience, and kindness. Most of your basic “ live bait “ can be found here but actual tackle is lacking, a lot of dusty out of date lures, some over priced. On top of being extremely unorganized the staff can be sometimes rude, I get they are busy and under staffed but I never should feel like my business is a burden to you as a customer

With a world class small mouth fishery right across the road they are extremely lacking in supplies. Make sure you're prepared before hand. Love the place but it's been pretty disappointing the last few stops in.

Raised price of minnows and they never have emeralds like they used to. Had to get eight dozen for two of us because Billy was in a bad mood. Used to refer all my friends but not anymore.

This shop is the real deal. They have a lot of inventory, are reasonably priced, are kind and always available for advice. I even got advice on kayak launch policy from a policemen who happened to stop in the shop one morning. Even the customers that I've met are good people. If your a Michigander, then you know what the term "good people" means. This shop lives up to it. I'd recommend setting a waypoint. It's a diamond.
