We were out of state for a concert and ran into some car troubles. The guys were able to get us fixed up and on our way back to Chicago very quickly. Even let us hangout in the lobby with our pup so we didn’t have to pay for an additional night at our hotel.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Honestly used to like coming here, pricing was fair and they had usually done a good job on my other vehicles. I brought my Chrysler 200 in to get my airbag light fixed. I had previously gone into a shop and had the machine plugged into it and they told me it was the drivers side seat. River Valley claimed it was the passenger seat. I told them okay, if that's what you believe but I was told otherwise then go ahead. They "fixed" it and it was off for a few weeks before popping back on. I brought it back in, and at that time they had tried to charge me AGAIN, for them to fix their previous work. They had said they were sorry and didn't wanna lose a customer, so they "fixed" it again and it is currently back on for the 3rd time now. Called and left a voicemail, and sent texts and have not heard a word back about what they are willing to do to make things right. Would definitely not recommend their services and will not be returning.

I have used them 5 or 6 times. Always answers the phone, very professional and extremely well priced. They often get me in same day for minor items. I have not had a regular mechanic shop that I am more pleased with than River Valley Auto.

2015 Sierra, Was having issues with my Active Fuel Management system causing torque converter shudder. Scott was able to turn off the AFM and tune the engine. Talking with the guys in the shop, they were all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I don't live in the area, but if I did this would be my garage. Bonus.....walking distance to Herman Boy coffee shop.

One of our cars has needed a ton of repairs since we got it, and these guys have been so great taking care of everything. Normally mechanics will patronize or ignore me, but these guys are different. They are so patient and responsive, and have always taken the time to explain everything and help me understand exactly what repairs were needed and why.
