What can you say It's Meijer's beats Walmart hands down. Meijers have employees that look at you and listen. Walmart employees stand there with their mouth open a bit with a 100,000 mi stare.
Now I know this is an opinion and maybe a slightly biased one. But Meijer's is a store original to Michigan and we are clearly different here. We are proud people who stand up for ourselves. We're also kind and helpful. The only thing we expect is that you treat us the way you want to be treated.

Well this was the first time visiting Michigan and I have to say, WHAT A STORE! If Walmart and Publix had a child, it would be Meijier!!!

Nice clean store, unfortunately they never have what you need. Take the time and drive to Cedar Springs. Their buyers do a much better job. Always have everything. The Rockford store didn't even have a basic staple like brown rice last time we were there. Someone needs to be more involved in the stocking of the Rockford store because they are failing miserably.

I only stopped at the gas station. I love Meijer, but $2 to fill up the air in a tire is absolutely ridiculous.

I wish this store would take an active role at the upper management level. If you have the product, PUT IT ON THE SHELF!! Too many times I've visited this store after checking the website to make sure it's in stock only to find it's not on the shelf. Sometimes a helpful stock worker will go find it. Other times they don't care to check and immediately say something like "I looked earlier for that same thing and we are out of it". This practice is exactly how Family Fare lives on. I don't even try to order Shipt from here because that's also mismanaged to the point they allow the shopper to skip half your items and/or make ridiculous substitutions without communication or approval. This store manager may believe they're doing a good job but please know that we're watching you FAIL miserably!!! Let's see if you CARE...

Clean store and great variety of items. We shop Meijer all the time. We appreciate how Meijer is trying to lower prices in order to help the average family afford groceries. Meijer has fresh produce that looks good and tastes good. I would love to see more lanes open with cashiers. Overall, my ear will continue to receive our business.
