I appreciated the staff, the resources and the time. We have a difficult patient (very anxious dog) and were having issues that could not easily be explained. The team took their time to explore all avenues and call in resources to diagnosis the issue. They remained transparent and communicative all aspects.

I have followed Dr. Lindhurst to this office from another location.
From the couple of appointments I have had since May 2024, I can say I am very happy with the staff and location. We have met Dr. Totin as well in order for our pup to have a growth looked at prior to a dental cleaning and she was very kind, knowledgeable, and upfront.
I am biased to Dr. Lindhurst and will say I genuinely trust her because she has always met us where we are at financially. She is honest about cost and what needs to be done and can prioritize needs. I truly believe she saved our dog’s livelihood after we sought a second opinion through her.
The staff members and vet techs have always been friendly and supportive at each visit with our cat and dog.

Dr. Totin has been taking excellent care of my aging puppy. The staff is caring and the doctors listen carefully to everything i explain and really try to understand the situation. Caring well for an aging dog is expensive but it is worth it!

My husband and I were new to the area and needed somewhere to take our cat who had become ill. We decided on Rochester Veterinary Hospital because it was close to the house. I can’t say enough good things about them. Everyone here is so helpful and pleasant. They always are able to get us in within a reasonable about of time. Dr. Lindhurst is honestly amazing! Not only was she great with our cat in person but she also took the time on multiple occasions to discuss our cat and our options via phone or email. I’m forever grateful for her and the staff at Rochester Veterinary Hospital!

I’ve been going to Rochester veterinary hospital for years. Excellent vets and staff. They take the time to really listen and provide your pet with the best care. They also look at things logically and with common sense and provide customized care for your pets specific needs and don’t just rubber stamp a diagnosis and treatment. Also I have never felt rushed in or out and the receptionists are always exceedingly kind and courteous.

Went less then a week ago for blood work and exam to keep my dog on his anti seizure meds. Dr said at the time it was unusual that he was still having seizures and to call if they became more frequent. He had another so we called in case he needed an additional med they could prescribe it. They said he has to have an 65$ exam and refused to help with prescription. I spent $300 on bloodwork the week before. I can’t afford to take my dog to the vet everyday just bc they want to see his cute face. I wish I could it would be good exposure. They are just a money grabbing place who doesn’t care about treating patients or patient care. Like everything in Rochester it’s just another money grab! Switched to our local vet Serenity and they even thought this was a poor practice when I was setting up my account! Serenity is Fraser is where to go!! If I’m paying another exam fee a week later for the same medical condition damn sure it’ll be someplace else! And you can see from their reply below they can’t even count a week. 7/31/24-8/8/24 is not more then a week so by their explanation there should not have been another exam cost.

I recently took my pet to Rochester Veterinary Hospital and was thoroughly impressed with the care we received. The doctor took a completely different approach than our previous vet, focusing on truly understanding and addressing the underlying issues rather than just treating symptoms. Her compassion and dedication to finding the right solution were evident in every interaction. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel confident that our pet was in the best hands. We are so grateful for the exceptional care at Rochester Veterinary Hospital and highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for a vet who genuinely cares about their patients.

This vet office has been where we go for a decade! When we had senior pets we felt heard as we navigated new health problems. Then introducing a puppy we knew the care would be phenomenal here. That puppy is now almost 7 and every time we come in Dr Hicks knows us and her ?
I love the online appointment making options, access to the paw plans when we want to go that route, the friendliness of the staff, and our waits are never long!
We are so happy to have a trusted place so close to home! Shout out to Dr Hicks again as she has been such an important part of our dogs’ health over the years!
