I frequent this Kroger quite often. Always clean, employees are always kind and in general I have good experiences when shopping here.I do have to give a shout out to my favorite employee Dan, had such a sweet interaction and he is just one of the many employees that brighten up my day when I see them.

Thank you Arshawn for perfecting my to-go order today. There was a 4/1.99 each deal and basically they were out of 1 specific variety I selected therefor charging me full price for 3. When I explained the situation he went back in and grabbed what I needed so I could still get the deal. Thank you so much!

This particular Kroger was my favorite in the past...IN THE PAST. I'm not sure what happened but their produce is horrible, rarely is there someone at the meat counter, the customer service desk is hardly open and there is constantly empty shelves. The isles are always packed with either people stocking the shelves or workers filling pick up orders. I'm not even sure how that's not a fire hazard. I'm so disappointed.

I have been a Kroger pharmacy customer for 36 years in Rochester and Oakland twp MI. I have always been tremendously happy with them-NO complaints EVER. Well today that changed with 2 people I had never spoken to before. Apparently They have started giving Covid shots sometime recently at the Oakland Twp store. My Dr called in a prescription on the automated line at 12;30. 2 hours later I called to see if it was ready. A man told me he never received it. I called my dr who spoke directly with this man who told him to call back and leave it on the automated line. I assume he was the pharmacist. My Dr said he had ALREADY done just that over 2 hours previously. The man told him ok - yes he had it-but he had been busy giving vaccines all day. I called back an hour after that and a woman told me they never got the call. I enlightened her on the actual facts and told her I had been lied to once and now she was doing the same thing!!!! Lo and behold- she told me oh- she found it and they were working on it. If they cannot handle the vaccines then you had better get them more help. I am stunned that I was lied to by two different people instead of just telling me they were very busy - which I have been told before- and my reaction was thanks for letting me know. Lying is inexcusable.

This Kroger was Absolute Chaos on my recent visit here. Couldn't even walk down the main aisle because the line(s) were so bad!!Just wanted to get a couple of two liters, for some reason they had the last set of self checkouts closed and only two lanes open and 4 self checkouts. The lines for the 4 self checkouts went down the end of the aisle!!! The reset of the lines were no better. Now I know why I go to the one in Lake Orion, never had a problem with that one and lines have never gotten out of control.

Made the mistake of stopping in Kroger again. Thought I might slip in and out for some charcoal, wood chips and milk. No wood chips on isle with charcoal so I waited and waited and waited to check out. Check out is always a horror. Apparently no one in Kroger management has ever heard of queuing theory, or are ignoring it. As I was waiting an employee walked past. I had already crossed paths with this kid three times as I looked through the store for an independent stand of wood chips. So I say to him as a last chance to find the chips, "there were no wood chips on the aisle with charcoal, you aware of them anywhere else in the store?". His response, "ask someone in that department". Not a I don't know let me find someone who might know, or wait here, I will find out. Zero stars, but am forced to at least give one to post.

I stopped going here when I bought a watermelon that was all liquid when I cut into it. The oroduce must be second hand stuff that other stores don't want. Not fresh! Also watch expiration dates because they don't check it and much of the food is past dated. Don't buy " fresh" flowers. Once again must be rejects from other stores because they will last maybe 2 to 3 days The store staff is rude. It's obvious that they don't want to be there. I recently stopped in for one item and nothing changed. Bad produce, dirty store, confusing layout and rude staff. Why shop here? Go to the new Aldi in Orion. You won't be disappointed.

I don't know what happened in the 12 months, but the produce selection is AWFUL. We live behind this Kroger and go here only out of convenience. But we head to papa joes when we want fresh fruit and veggies. The produce shelves are often bare and what IS on the shelves are terrible quality. Last night the artichokes, of the 8 or so they had, were ALL brown. I can't believe anybody would leave that on the shelves, it's disgusting. The meat department is fine, but the seafood is often left wanting. Maybe one out of 10 times when go we will buy seafood, but most of the time it's as fresh as the produce. I will say, the bakery is the BEST. The bread is awesome and the sweets are excellent. Checkout is fine, and you learn who is with it, and who isn't. C'mon management, get your produce section up to AVERAGE.

I want to start by saying that the few people who have left reviews about the "rude, idiot employees" here should keep in mind that this kroger, and most Krogers actually, employ quite a few people with mental handicaps, and autistic people, and it would benefit those people who are being mean and insulting to keep in mind that it is not okay to make fun of people for their disabilities and differences like this. Karma is a very real thing. This store is VERY open about their hiring policy and who they tend to employ and it is not a secret by any means that a good deal of employees are differently a led. It is very likely that there will be some "attitude" misunderstandings, it is well known that people on the autistism scale can have social anxieties and can come across as awkward, or even rude without intending to. And I can personally say that while of course there have been awkward moments in this store, as life tends to be one giant awkward moment for me lol, but I have not once EVER witnessed any employee ever being rude or mean or meaning any harm or insult to ANYONE, EVER here. It bothers me greatly that someone would leave such awful comments in reviews here just because someone is different than them. Anyway, This is our neighborhood Kroger store. For the most part it's just a "normal grocery store" but it's always clean, and usually stocked well. They occasionally go through a stint where they are out of something, that is of course something that's a staple in our house, and they are low on/out of whatever it is for months and months, but then all of a sudden it's back usually and no issues. Once or twice we've mentioned to a manager about whatever they were out of and asked about bringing it back, or having them order more, and the first couple times, they told us that it'd be no problem to order more to keep it in stock, and we're encouraged to let them know about any other inquiries or products we wished they had/had more of. So that is very nice. Most stores won't do that for its customers. We love this store and do most of our shopping here. I also want to mention that the pharmacy staff is WONDERFUL. They all know us on a first name basis by now, as we know them, we have been using the pharmacy here for over 10 years now, and they are always very helpful and accommodating. They actually go out of their way to make sure we're taken care of and kept up to date when things don't go as planned (like with insurance issues.) My mom has recently been VERY sick, and 3 of the employees in particular, Jamie, Connie, and forgive me but I cannot remember the 3rd lady's name as she is newer still and I don't see her often, ALWAYS ask how she is doing and genuinely seem to care. Jamie and Connie have been around with us there for quite a few years and we are very thankful for them, they are amazing ladies.

If you like going to a grocery store that has lots of empty shelves then this is the place for you. I've come here on weekends, weekdays, mornings, afternoons and evenings, the place always feels and looks like it hasn't been stocked in a week. Not to mention they never have enough registers open (which I can deal with if they had everything that you needed).
