600 E University Dr, Rochester“Fantastic Old Farmhouse B&B
Just a lovely old, 1910, farmhouse lovingly restored into a fantastic B&B. Jan texted us our entry code the day of our arrival and we were able to pull under the entry portico to unload our suitcases. We stayed in the first floor Casablanca Suite off of the common area. It had a large comfortable chicly decorated den, a large bedroom with a very comfortable king bed. The linens and towels were extremely soft. The bathroom had a very large tub and shower with a standard and hand held shower head. Sheila loved the skylight. After a wonderful nights sleep Jan served us lemon ricotta pancake with blueberry compote and lemon curd, scrambled egg, link sausage, fruit, and a blueberry muffin. The B&B is out in the country without being too terribly far from town. Food and service was awesome.”

Wisam helped me retrieve these and even overnight mailed it all back to me.Wisam truly went above and beyond and deserves the recognition for this. Hampton earned a repeat customer from this excellent experience.”

45400 Park Ave, Utica“It was a nice place overall, but little things made it just an okay stay. Beds were awesome. So comfy!
Later checkout than other hotels, and a really decent breakfast. However, that being said, the shower was low pressure, no big, but the lights in the bathroom were motion sensitive, so after being in the shower 15 minutes, it turned itself off.
The shower also whined while running, which again, no big, but when both rooms on either side of us had the same issue at 7 am, it was not a great way to wake up. We were in the second floor and apparently right beneath the water pipes because we could hear every single time someone flushed a toilet, like we were in then basement or something. We were gathering our stuff to checkout and looking under tables/couch for lost toys, and found someone's nicotine vape under the couch. We went to the pool with our kids and it was supposed to be open until 10. At
9:52, without warning, the lights turned off in the room, leaving the pool lights. At 9:56, again without warning, all the lights were turned off and we were left in pitch darkness with 2 other families. Construction was being done in the parking lot and machines were making noises (back up beeping and large machinery moving) around 5 am on a Saturday. Construction equipment being in the parking lot made parking inconvenient. Someone blocked a stairwell door with a luggage cart (in a fire, people would have been trapped) and stairwell doors to the parking lot were propped open.”
“I rated the room and location as 3 stars because, whilst both were very nice, our corner suite facing Woodward Ave, was extremely loud at night. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the noise from nearly every car having a loud glass-pack muffler, went on until 3AM. I realize that this is not the hotel's fault, but hotel management needs to engage with the Birmingham police department to address this issue. Service gets 4 stars because, whilst most every service offering is well executed and staff are very helpful, there were no disinfecting wipes in the fitness center for the 5 days I stayed there. Even after alerting both front desk staff and the fitness center attendant about the issue, it was not addressed. I would think that after day two, someone on staff would have just gone to CVS and bought some Lysol wipes and put them in the fitness center, but no. Gross! At $400/night, I doubt that I would stay here again.”
“Our 1st time staying at one if your properties. Rooms were great, pool was great, service was great. Only suggestion for readers of reviews: I overlooked this place does not have complimentary breakfast with room purchase. They have a made to order of a menu which comes with extra costs. The nearby Wendy's is horrible with customer service. Do not go there! The HUB STADIUM next door to hotel is awesome!Thank you for a great stay and if we're in area again we will come back.”

3600 Centerpoint Pkwy, Pontiac“Love it when we stay here! Perfect for our Success Track with UWM. We ate here Tuesday night & the food was absolutely fabulous. Had the lamb lollipop chops as an appetizer, had I known they were going to be that amazing I'd have ordered that with a side salad for dinner. But I had the artichoke chicken and it did not disappoint! 2 in our party had the Salmon & they were very happy with their choice. EVERYTHING we have had here has been fabulous!
Nearby activities: El Toro is walking distance and I highly recommend fajitas for 2 ( which is really for 3!)

This one is surely more for business people, but was a wonderful place for more casual visitors such as ourselves. The breakfast was the BEST I've ever had at any hotel we've ever stayed at! Fresh delicious options and there's even a made to order station! Rooms were clean and spacious. Service was great. After spending years going to sub par hotels and motels with few exceptions, we are now officially Hilton people! Highly recommend. 6 Stars! ?Rooms: Clean, spacious, with everything you could possibly want or need.Food & drinks: Breakfast was the best Hotel / Motel breakfast I've ever had. Bar none.”

1145 W Maple Rd, Clawson“We only stayed one night, but it was pleasant. There were no surprises, which is exactly what I want from a hotel. The room was clean. The furniture looks like it was reasonably updated. Sheets and towels were clean. The bed and sheets were comfortable. There are some nice details as well, like the reading lights and USB ports at both sides of the bed.The staff were friendly, and we received text messages checking up on us at the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and free.I have no major criticisms. Troy (and Clawson) are not pedestrian-friendly, but that's not the hotel's fault. If you're a light sleeper, it's worth keeping in mind that the air conditioner is the smaller variety and they can be a little noisy. Ours was on the louder side, but it wasn't too bad and we slept just fine. The bathrooms are excellent. Like the room itself, they have been updated recently. The lights flanking the bathroom mirror are another nice touch - my fiancée found it very helpful when applying makeup. The shower is tall-person friendly, which is greatly appreciated. This is a hotel. It does its job well. It is comfortable, clean, quiet, and reasonably priced.Rooms: Recently updated with some nice touches, like reading lights and USB charging ports.”
“Gemini was just updated. See updatecloseConversation with GeminieditWrite a hotel review for homewood suites, clean, beautiful rennovations, friendly staff.Show draftsvolume_upHomewood Suites: Spacious Comfort and Friendly HospitalityI recently had the pleasure of staying at Homewood Suites, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the entire property. Everywhere I went, from the lobby to the hallways to my suite itself, everything sparkled. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.Speaking of the staff, they were all incredibly friendly and helpful. From the moment I checked in, I felt welcome and well-cared for. The staff was always happy to answer my questions and offer recommendations for things to do in the area. But the real star of the show was my suite. The recent renovations were beautiful! The modern design and tasteful decor created a truly inviting atmosphere. The suite itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the biggest perks for me was having a fully-equipped kitchen in the suite. This allowed me to save money on meals by preparing some of my own food.Overall, my stay at Homewood Suites was excellent. The clean and renovated accommodations, friendly staff, and spacious suites made it a perfect place to stay. I would highly recommend Homewood Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.”
“We had a great stay, with the exception of the breakfast service. Many items not available, waffle batter took a long time to dispense which created long lines and congestion in the breakfast area. Other than that no complaints.”

11401 Hall Rd, Utica“It's not a 4-star. It's a Comfort Inn. That being said, it was a nice one. It was near the end of a renovation. We were warmly greeted by the desk attendant when we arrived. He had a good sense of humor and the letter to furry friends at the desk was hilarious.
We had a little trouble getting in our door, but were surprised when we got in to find a large Jacuzzi tub big enough for two with a curtain into the bed area. My wife thought we had the honeymoon sweet. With the curtain open, we could both relax in the hot tub while watching a movie on TV.
We'll definitely stay again!
Rooms: Our room has a coffee maker, fridge, and a large Jacuzzi tub/shower. We slept well on the bed.
Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants and shopping not far from the hotel. I wouldn't call it pedestrian-friendly, but you probably could.
Safety: We never felt unsafe.
Walkability: There's stuff a mile or so away. The roads are busy, so I probably wouldn't walk it.
Food & drinks: Breakfast was basic but free. Fruit, cereal, yogurt, bagels, warm breakfast sandwiches, coffee, milk, etc.
Plenty of restaurants nearby.”

200 W Big Beaver Rd, Troy“This Marriot is conveniently located next to I-75 for easy access to all the surrounding areas. The hotel is nice. The rooms are small. We were even upgraded to a larger king room on the concierge level. The disappointment was in the club lounge. Evening there was nothing but cheese and crackers. The drinks were 9.00 a piece. Went the bar and got cheaper drinks. Breakfast was a little better but not great. Staff is excellent and took good care of our needs. This hotel is oriented for business travel. Everything is geared for the Sunday through Thursday traveler. We were there for business so it was good. The bar is hoping at night.”

I recently stayed at the location in Sterling Heights, MI, located on 15 Mile Road. The service from the staffers and management was professional, attentive, friendly, and caring. The room was clean the bed was comfortable. “The Royal was amazing. We were treated with great kindness and respect. We enjoyed the bikes that we got to use around the cute town. Rooms were beautiful.
