On September 29, 2023 my wife & I were traveling to Hilton Head, SC for a family wedding. Just south of Asheville I received a warning message on my Cadillac Xt5 indicating that my "steering assist was reduced drive carefully". I had received this message before. Not knowing exactly what it meant I googled it and found out that in most cases it meant a thermostat problem that is common with that engine and that it should be covered under my powertrain warranty. I took my vehicle into Crestview Cadillac to have it repaired. Initially they told me it was probably a thermostat problem and it would be covered under my powertrain warranty. But later that day the service supervisor called and said that it wasn't a thermostat problem but rather a coolant issue that cost $1,600 to repair. Needless to say I wasn't very happy but authorized the repair. I also asked them to check the thermostat again to make it wasn't the issue. When I picked up my vehicle I asked if they had checked the thermal again and was told they had and that wasn't the issue.Upon receiving the message a second time I was sure the problem was the thermostat. I asked my wife to call Crestview to see if they could help direct us to a local dealer close to where we were. My wife was told that all the service representatives were busy and they would call us back. My wife then went on line ang found the nearest GM dealer which happened to be Boyd GMC in Hendersonville, NC. We called their service department and explained the issue to their service rep, Randy, as well as the fact that we had to be in Hilton Head that evening. He said to bring it and they would see what they could do. He was there to meet us when we pulled into the service bay. He then confirmed that it was a code #P128 thermostat problem. He checked with his parts department to confirmed that they had the parts to make the repair and also confirmed that the cost of the repair was covered by my powertrain warranty. Of course I authorized the repair. The repair was made and we were on the road 2.5 hrs later. Boyd was great. We arrived in Hilton Head at 4:30 that afternoon. Just as we were pulling onto the island Crestview service returned our call from 8:30 that morning. I told them that we no longer needed their assistance and that I will not be using Crestview for service in the future or for that matter purchase another vehicle from them.Harold McDonald

I dropped my vehicle on 11/04 due to my engine light had come on before I left on my business trip. I received a call from the Service Advisor during my travels on Monday informing me my injectors needed to be replaced at a cost of $1800 at first I said no and followed up with a call on Tuesday 11/07 authorizing the repair. I did inform them I was out of town and will be returning back to the US on Friday 11/10 to pick up the vehicle. The dealership was very accommodating and noted the vehicle will be ready for pick up on 11/10. I arrived to the dealership on 11/10 around 5:30 pm to pick up my vehicle and was greeted with a very sarcastic Service Advisor ( I won't mention his name) he asked what was my name and I told him and he could not find me in the system nor the paperwork and he asked me If I was sure that was my name. After a few awkward minutes had passed by the service advisor had noted the vehicle was serviced and needed to be close out in the system. I was fine with that and just wanted to get this transaction closed out as soon as possible. When they found the hard copies of the work order they inform me the vehicle was not done and the parts had just arrived. I was very confused as he was ready to close out the transaction and then be told the vehicle was not completed. I did not have an issue with backorder parts a simple call/text message would have been fine. I was more disappointed in the customer service and the attitude I was given and was not about to give them almost $2k for the injector repairs in which I thought was very expensive to begin with but I needed my vehicle. So I told them just give me my keys and I will take my vehicle somewhere else to do the repairs. He then begin to tell me the parts are on backorder and I will have the same problem wherever I go. I told him I still want my keys and I will take my vehicle with me. He then informed in a very disrespected tone to wait outside for my vehicle. I was flabbergasted when he said this. I just walked outside and waited for my vehicle. I did speak Dawn Medecke - Guest Relations on Monday 11/13 and I want to public thank her for all the returned calls and she apologize for the incident. The Service Manager was supposed to call me but I have yet to hear from him. So I took my vehicle to another GM Dealership today 11/14 at 7:00 AM and received a call at 5:00 pm today that my vehicle is ready for pick up at a cost of $1200 total for the repairs!I should have read the Google Reviews before taking my vehicle to this dealership. I do not like making a negative post but one negative experience from one person reflects on the whole organization. Thanks again Dawn for trying to make things right and it's unfortunate you have to deal with these issues.

Moved to the area and needed an oil change . Tried the facility three times and it was a no go.1. This facility doesn’t do the full inspection (I asked for a copy and they claim they were out of printing paper when in reality they didn’t do the inspection). I have to ask for the full inspection and once I did the facility lied and stated my tires had good traction- luckily I checked myself and bought new tires.2 This facility doesn’t even vacuum or complete a basic wash (my car is clean already but an extra touch is nice).3. The facility doesn’t have a courtesy van to take you home when I live less than a mile from the facility .I am used to going to Cadillac of Grand Blanc and experiencing a full car inspection without asking with a print out, car washed and vacuumed. Also, a courtesy shuttle if service will take too long.

$180 for an air filter and a cabin air filter is gouging the consumer. No multi point inspection until I asked for it. Have the paperwork ready when you come get me to pay. $321.00 for an oil change, rotation and filters, please. That’s ridiculous. I have a lot of options when it comes to dealers in Detroit, and you Crestview have lost my business. I bought it from you, but not my next one for sure. I’ve had better service at a Dodge dealerships and will not return for anything at your dealership. Good luck keeping customers with your horrid service.

I want to preface this review by saying that Kara Sacks (the saleswomen) and Dawn Medecke (guest relations manager) we're highly professional and this review does not reflect poorly on their performance. That being said, I contacted Crestview Cadillac on August 4th about a CT4V-BW I was (am) looking to purchase. On the website portal there is a "preferred contact" option in which I selected "email only". In addition, I specifically mentioned to respect my privacy and only email. Anyone want to guess who the call was from five minutes later? So I go in to look at one of the ~4 CT4V-BW's in manual that have been on the lot for months. Long story short, I was unable to even sit in one let alone test drive one due to "policy". Additionally, I inquired about the ordering process and was told "that it's basically the same as online". So, I was not able to test drive the vehicle I was interested in driving, and I was told just to do the ordering myself so I ask this: What possible reason does this dealership have for existing if that is the case? The management policies negate any possible value that the brick and mortar dealership can provide. I'm extremely frustrated, and my experience lost Crestview a sale as I was able to literally walk in to Suburban Porsche and immediately get seat-time in a 718 GTS which I will likely purchase.Do better, or dealerships will be no more once the legacy laws are overturned.

My experience was from 2022. I sent the following text to Hillary and never received a response.Hillary, I'm sorry but I will never be back to Crestview. My wife and I stopped in around 5:30 yesterday because we were in the area and we spoke with Adam. He would not explain anything and was extremely rude. He was talking over me and flat out told me I didn't know what I was talking about, but wouldn't explain. I could not believe the level of arrogance and disrespect. My wife called after we left and he continued his rude behavior to her on the phone and would not transfer her to your sales manager. I know you will have no problem selling the vehicle to someone else.

The most crooked dealer I've ever dealt with. Will have you send a LARGE deposit, and insure the vehicle you're buying then sell it out from under you. Oh and they'll lie cheat and steal to try and keep your deposit. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this bunch of crooks.

We bought my girlfriend her used Supra from here and these guys knew absolutely nothing about the car. The finance guy makes rude comments for no reason. He said to my girlfriend “you only make $16 an hour and you’re applying for a $52k car?” Mind you she was already approved at a good rate and had $25k as a down payment. Very unnecessary comment. I told them they needed to service the brakes as the service for them was last due before we even bought the vehicle and they never did. At first they weren’t going to cover any of the cost of the service that needed to be done even though I brought it to their attention the first time we looked at the car (I know these cars well I’ve owned mine for 2 years) and they acknowledged it and then did nothing about it. I would never buy a car from this place and I’m sad my girlfriend had to buy her Supra from them because she fell in love with the one they had.

Took my srx in for toe link recall and was told they would not do the repair until I got over 2,000 dollars in other repairs done that my car clearly did not need. I took my car into different Cadillac dealership today and recall was taken care of with no issue. Dealership tried to lie about needed repairs just to try to get money. Aaron was the service tech

After unreturned emails I had to call this dealership three times regarding a $100 deposit return. That also didn’t work so I had to call Cadillac to finally get a refund. Unacceptable service from a so called luxury brand far behind BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Lexus in sales every year.

Customers are unable to take test drives, with or without the salesperson's assistance... unacceptable for any dealership. How are we supposed to buy a car if we don't even know what they're like to drive in the first place?

We bought three Cadillacs from here, XT5 to a XT6 and a CT4-V Blackwing. Always great experience. They understand track customers as well and align my camaro track car, and my blackwing. When we ran into problems in past we always spoke up respectfully and team did their best to help us out. Get to know the team and they will take care of you!

Call the service department to request a quote for new brakes and the service advisor "Aaron" was rude. He told me that he could provide a quote. I called Cadillac of Novi and a quote in 1 minute.I won't go to Crestview ever !

We have had many great experiences here from service to sales. They price their vehicles fair and have never overcharged on service. Would highly recommend!
