“I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the customer service at the Chets rental in Rochester Hills Michigan. I am disabled I had 220 pound propane tanks needed to be filled no sooner than I pulled around to the filling station. David was there to greet me and pull out the tanks himself to begin the filling process. If that wasn’t wonderful enough out of the rental office came Kevin, who saw that I was using a walker and offered to expedite payment saving me the walk into the office and back to my car. David also reloaded my tanks and made sure they were soundly secure for my drive home. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate going to a business establishment with people who really care and put the customers needs on a higher level. Thank you David and Kevin. “In Regards To Store Manager Josh, Located In Fort Wayne, IN:I purchased a Danby microwave on 10/10/22. At the time of purchase, I also bought a 2 year extended warranty.Last month, the plastic on my keypad began bubbling. I contacted Danby through their website regarding the issue.Over 3 days and 7 e-mails with Danby, I had received no resolution to my issue. More importantly, I had discovered interesting information regarding their warranties on microwaves.I was informed by Danby that warranties on microwaves cover parts only, and not service repairs.In the interest of transparency and information for consumers, I contacted ABC Warehouse and requested to speak with the Store Manager. I was placed on hold, and a few minutes later, Josh answered. I explained who I was, my previous purchase on 10/10/22, Danby's microwave warranty specifics, and my recent disappointing experience with Danby's Customer Service.Josh stated that he was not aware of Danby's microwave warranty specifics, and thanked me for the information. Then, Josh performed a stellar act of customer service.Josh made arrangements for me to bring my microwave in for a replacement.Danby can learn from Josh, for Josh exemplifies the epitome of customer service.”

“I bought two big potted inpatients for my very shaded porch and one is not doing well compared to the other. Both were watered on Friday and today, one is very wilty looking. The price was so much cheaper than English Gardens which thr same planter was priced at $52.99 So of course, Home Depot was way less expensive at $18.99. However, if one plant dies, well them it won't be quite as inexpensive.”

I returned to the Rochester Hills store, where I was assisted by Wanda, an exemplary customer service representative. After explaining the situation, Wanda showed genuine empathy for the inconvenience I experienced. When I expressed my desire to reorder, she suggested I place the order via my phone while she phoned Home Depot's customer service for website orders to ensure the replacement would be satisfactory.

As Wanda processed my refund for the original unit, she went above and beyond by calling Home Depot's central customer service. She meticulously explained the situation, emphasizing the extra effort required on my part – from pickup to unpacking, repacking, and returning the damaged item. Wanda's primary concern was preventing a similar occurrence and arranging for the new glider to be shipped directly to my home.

Although express shipping wasn't possible, Wanda's persistence resulted in a price adjustment that wouldn't have been offered without her excellent advocacy. Impressively, even while assisting me and navigating on-hold times on the phone, Wanda efficiently multitasked, helping other customers in the store.

Here's why: Today, I was in need of a garbage disposal, (Initially dealt with another major supply store, but sadly, due to several weeks of ongoing issues with miscommunication and lack of inventory, given reassurances and awaiting phone calls to fix the matter, I decided to get a refund and take my business elsewhere.) Hence, searched online, picked out a Badger 5 / 1/2 HP product to purchase. Contacted Home Depot Rochester Hills service desk, spoke to Mike K, who connected me with Beth (Plumbing/Kitchen Dept.) Beth not only helped me locate my requested product, she also pulled another comparable product to allow me a secondary choice along with product pricing, she immediately set up a Home Depot service person to contact me for my garbage disposal installation, and was able to pay for it right over the phone. She reassured me, that she would pull both disposals, set them on a counter, and instructed me to go directly to Kitchen department for pick-up. To my surprise, approximately, 30 minutes later, the Home depot serviceman called me, set up an appointment to install my garbage disposal, today. Mind you, I was just getting my shoes on to pick- up the disposal. Of course, I made an appointment as soon as I was able to pick up the disposal. Beth kept her word, when I arrived at the store, that's exactly where I found the disposals setting; at the Kitchen counter showroom. No time to waste, the Badger 5 unit was my choice, so, I proceeded to walk to the service desk where a very nice cashier, quickly assisted me on my purchase. Finally, got home and to my amazement, my husband was waiting at the door, laughingly, grabbed it from me, to hand to the serviceman Stanley, who was there in the kitchen ready to install. Wow! He had actually already removed the old disposal and awaited the new one, in the time that I was coming home from the store. Wow! Home Depot and their serviceman were totally on the ball today! My husband and I are very satisfied customers, impressed with Home Depot's fast and excellent service, and highly recommend anyone searching for great service to go to Home Depot in Rochester Hills.
