Brought my GMC Denali Diesel in for a problem with the brakes groaning to the point my wife wouldn't drive it. Had the good fortune to meet Olivia, very knowledgeable and thorough service advisor. This is the kind of person that makes a very positive experience at a Mega Dealership.

Ladies and gents, let me tell you about my experience doing business with Serra GMC Buick of Rochester Hills. My salesman was terrific and the gentleman that handles the financing was extremely helpful. I loved my new Acadia. However, due to an accident, I chose to have my vehicle towed to Serra's body shop. Biggest mistake I ever made. My vehicle was there for almost 4 months. Now I understand the issues with parts being backordered, but the biggest problem lies with the lack of communication between the body shop manager, Nick, and myself. I would call to check on the progress of my vehicle and did he call me back? No. This went on for months. I had every right to call and inquire about the status of my vehicle. I stopped by the dealer on my way to work at 7:00am and my vehicle was sitting outside unwashed and unlocked for who knows how many days. I was furious and took pictures. Yesterday, May 26, 2023, I received a text from Nick stating that my vehicle would be ready and that he would text me when it was ready to be picked up. I thought, great! That text never came. So, I stopped at the dealer / body shop on my way home from work at 3:30. My car was still sitting in the same place and it had not been washed or moved. Nor had the paperwork been completed so that I could finally take possession of my vehicle after close to 4 months. Nick, the body shop manager, told me that in order for him to release my car I would either have to pay the entire $18,000 or that he would have to make sure my insurance company paid all the monies owed. That was incredibly unprofessional. I checked with my insurance company and they issued every check that was requested. Nick just did not want to have to process all of the paperwork. He told me to leave the dealership and come back later. The he proceeded to further insult me and ask if I was prepared to pay my deductible!!!!!! What!!??? Unprofessional and uncalled for. How dare he ask me that. Well by this time, it was 4:00pm and they were only open to 6:00. I was absolutely furious. Not only has this individual been jerking my chain around for months, he texts me to let me know my vehicle would be ready, when in reality, he would actually have to do his job before I could pick my vehicle up. I was determined to take possession of my vehicle that day and not wait one more minute. I returned my rental and was back at Serra GMC by 4:30. Low and behold my paperwork was ready. I paid my deductible (what an insulting this to say and insinuate that I could not pay it), however, my vehicle was not ready, it was not washed or prepped and Nick actually expected me to drive off the lot in a filthy dirty brand new Acadia covered in dust and dirt. What did I do? I demanded that he or someone was my darn car! With that, he was furious with me. Nick took my car behind the dealer for 25 minutes! I waited for 25 minutes for him to clean up my vehicle. I was furious. He was totally unprepared, unprofessional and there was this undercurrent of misogynism that was pervasive in his attitude with me. When Nick was finally finished, he saw me standing there, drove right past me and parked my car at the front of the dealership. This was intentional because he looked right at me while driving by. Last but least, I was getting the seat in my vehicle situated and once again, trying to get familiar with my vehicle while another body shop or service center employee, who drives a white motorcycle, walks past the front of my car shaking his head at me as if to say, "stupid woman!" This bad boy behavior in this dealership will not be tolerated. I will call every news station and newspaper and report them for treating me so badly all the while getting paid a small fortune by my insurance company. This backwards thinking that I had no right to call them to inquire about my vehicle is ridiculous. Everyone has that right and should call to check on the vehicles. I will make sure that this never happens to another woman or man. Nick and his cohorts need to be replaced or educated on how to treat customers.

I am absolutely pleased with making the right decision coming here to finance my first ever vehicle! Jake , my salesman. I owe him a huge thank you. He is amazing. He truly did everything in his power to make sure I fully understood every detail that came along with financing and going out of his way to make sure I had everything in. Keeping me updated throughout the process from start to finish, assuring me with what was the next step. Also very patient with me on my end , which made me even more comfortable to seek out and ask questions. Going into this dealership I was very nervous at first , but I can assure you, you will be in great hands! You can truly tell they love what they do and treat you with the upmost care! I am now in love with the car I financed and do not want to go through any other dealership in the future.

Greg was amazing. I could not have asked for a more thoughtful person from start to finish. He was genuinely concerned with my safety & issue I had with my vehicle. gave me advice on what to do before I could bring it in and once the repair was complete, his genuine personality and customer service went way above and beyond. A genuinely good human is hard to find these days. He is definitely one of them. Thank you, Greg.
