The worst meijer layout I've ever experienced. I do not understand why I have to walk both ends of a grocery store to get groceries. Multiple times I thought I was going crazy because I couldn't find common items but they were in different parts of the store. For example, frozen meatballs aren't in the frozen foods section. They're in a freezer near packaged nuts and produce. I posted a picture... the feta cheese in the front of the store near the deli but no feta cheese can be found with any other cheese in the deli section. Completely opposite side of the store. Employees are nice but the layout is awful.

It was not quite 8 pm on a Sunday night. The store closes at Midnight. Only one check-out open. There were 11 self-checks with a line up. Staff was snarky. Come on Meijer corporate, you can do better than this.

So id like to know how much the cashier's at meijer are making, it can't be much because there are only 2 lines open EVER other than the self checkouts. The lines are RIDICULOUSLY LONG. People standing there for an hour meanwhile the frozen foods unthawing, forget getting ice cream because itll be bad before you leave. I used to love meijer but now 2-3x a week i DREAD going. I don't mind using the self checkout atall except every other item itll stop working so you have to call an employee over and wait..and wait and wait some more because everyone else's machines are down also. So why shop there? Because im not getting paid as a cashier or bagger, but if i don't go in self checkout and do everything myself, ill be in an hour 1/2 line with food that's gone bad Mejjers makes enough money to pay an APPROPRIATE WAGE to there worker's/future workers so they can hire more help smh. Rant over

Everything was in stock that I was looking for and the store was clean. The cashier was friendly and efficient.

Don't purchase gift cards at Meijer's. We purchased a $100 Meijer gift card as a present only to discover later from the recipient that there were $0 on the card. Meijer's management were less then helpful in trying to resolve the issue and basically said that once we left the store with the card there was nothing they could do.

Only 4 cashiers working at any given time and lines to use self checkout can take 40 minutes- the lines daily go into the card section or clothing section. More employees are needed. Major stock issues since the pandemic as well despite Kroger and other neighboring Meijers have most items in stock pretty consistently. Also, we don't need greeters at the door to say hello.. would much prefer to have additional cashiers who can actually check out and keep the process of moving quickly

The store is ok in terms of items that they stock, but the checkout process is the worst. Tonight was no exception. At 6:30 PM they had TWO lanes open with cashiers...and each lane had at least 10 customers waiting. They finally opened a third lane, only to close one of the others! The self checkout line always has at least 2 dozen people in it, some with full baskets...This place is so slow that they almost make Walmart look good!

Went shopping at meijer (marketplace location) so disappointed big time. Store was a mess. Shelves were basically empty. I expected that to a point. The big issue was how dirty the store was. Sugar on the floor and all over the shelves. Bread on the floor. Moldy produce, brown lettuce (all varieties) and just pure grossness. The fruit was horrible. Brown grapes and bruised apples. Needless to say i did not purchase any fresh produce except a small bunch of broccoli. It still cost me over $200 for the minimal groceries. Will not return.

Don't get balloons at Meijer, a modern fairytale: *first off all of the balloons were tied onto one balloon string, instead of individual, the end result being a weird crown of balloons *at checkout the cashier literally untied one of the specialty balloons to scan it, then let it go. It was magical watching it float to the ceiling. *i had noticed that the woman who got my balloons for me had a cut on her hand, didn't notice until I got to my friends house that the woman helping me apparently bled on one of the balloons. *all of the balloons were deflated the day after I got them

Sunday, 11/21/21, placed pick up order. Not included was a turkey and whipping cream although I was charged for both. Got Mperk credit and reordered. Made 2nd trip. Was told order had gotten stuck in their "system" and I had to repay. I only had my keys and DL no credit card. After screwing around for nearly an hour a woman claiming to be a manager would not release 40 bucks worth of groceries so I could go home and call back with my payment. She told me several lies. I was totally pissed and indignant over her inability to make the right call and to think i would steal. She hung up on me. Today, 11/23, i reordered again for pickup at 3pm. Guess what...no order, no call back from Julian, no turkey, no whipping cream. It will be a terrific thanksgiving. What a joke. Meijer on S Adams. Rochester Hills.

Thanks for messing up my grandsons first birthday cake. I asked for a 5 inch celebration cake and even showed the girl in the bakery department exactly what I wanted. I get there and there is a 12 inch double layer cake waiting for me. They said that is what I ordered. So the customer is the idiot. And how about the customer in the produce department opening all the packs of strawberries and picking out the best and putting them in a new container. How is this allowed during Covid? Maybe the health department needs to pay a visit I won't be back

Visited this store today and hadn't been here in a long time. I couldnt believe how it changed. Dirty, disorganized, empty shelves and unhappy looking employees. I became concerned about the food I was buying. I wont be back to this store. There are nicer Meijer stores nearby.

This is the worst Meijer I've ever been to. The layout if very strange and not typical of Meijer. The Food is spread out all over the place. Took me 35 minutes to find eggs, which wear near the shoes and frozen. Ummmm ok, logical right. They have a very limited selection if home goods compared to other Meijer locations. I was unable to find several things I was looking for and had to go next door to Walmart. I will drive the extra 7 minutes for the Rochester Rd. Meijer in the future.
