This is a better-than-average Kroger. The produce is well-organized (organics are visible upon store entry) and its quality is good. There is a Murray's cheese shop as well as the standard deli, warm food, and bakery areas. Items are usually in stock and there is a decent variety. The store has good mobile reception for me (not true for larger stores such as the Kroger Marketplace at 18 Mile and Dequindre). Employees are helpful. My main gripe is that aisles are too narrow. There are sometimes jam-ups that bring to mind the stateroom scene from The Marx Brothers' movie, A Night at the Opera. Still, you could do worse if you want to shop at a Kroger (would that I could review Kroger corporate).

The Livernois/Walton store has been my place for over 20 years!! NO MORE. Shelves not stocked, deli counter is a joke and the meat counter is hit and miss. Checkout is a real joke. 1 or 2 registers open at best. Always a long wait even during the week. It's too bad because I used to love shopping here but that ship has sailed. Now I go there out of necessity, I wish the management would get their act together and I would return but for now I'll pass.

Absolutely horrible customer service if you ever need it. They're pretty much never there, and when they are, they're completely useless and rude. The store itself also is frequently not stocked appropriately, and gets extremely busy during peak times (more so than other stores).

Terrible manager syd. I was getting harassed outside and she yelled at me to go back and do carts. Don't recommend this location. If you go use the bathroom they will say your name over the speaker till you finish.

Happened to be in area - needed a few things.kind of outdated, older location. Friendly staff members. Found nearly everything needed. Though they carry beer and wine - no liquor! Self checkout lines moved quickly.

This location is ideally suited for nearby neighborhoods. Tons of parking, easy access to hospital and Livernois or Walton. It's not a "full-size" Kroger, so many people are frustrated by the narrow aisles, limited selection and lack of high end Kroger amenities. My rationale for shopping here is different. I love it because it has great selection for the essentials, is laid out beautifully, and is perfect for grabbing "quite a few quick things". If you need more than a party store, but don't want to head to a super store or Meijer or Target, then this location is perfect.

Amanda is by far the rudest and most irritating person to deal with. The staff in this pharmacy have gone so down hill. She wants to tell me the prescriptions were never called in and oops oh wait they were no apology, rule as heck. Won't be back here ever again. Oh wait another patient has a drug interaction with a medication and the pharmacy called the Dr office and is waiting for a callback. The patient asks if calling and getting angry with the Dr office will help. The dim whit Amanda says possibly. Are you joking. I have a practice and when a patient calls and tries to pressure us during the middle of the day they wait even longer. What is she thinking. This girl has got to go omg idiot. Many people complain about this place and nobody in management cares so I guess my money goes elsewhere. Awful location. Time for a staff purge.

Awful pharmacy department with extremely rude employees. They give a time when your prescription is ready…the employees, specifically Amanda, continuously have an attitude when I arrive at the time THEY provide only to find my prescriptions are not indeed ready. Miserable person all around.

For Mother's Day Weekend their selection of floral arrangements were few. Along with the flowers that were available were unhealthy looking or just dead already.

Customers are forced to use one door to enter, exit, and bottle return! The only door to use. It is always bottle necked! No social distance. Grocery delivery and pick up cooler clutter the same isle as you are FORCED to stand crowded to try and leave store. The other exit is locked with emergency exit only, I asked customer service (Donna) she said its an order from Fire Marshall. Lie! I asked to speak with manager Brandon and pointed out the bottle neck exit! No one following one way isle. His response was that's the way it is. Try again Kroger! Don't be a hypocrite! Open t

I was in this store this morning at 9 am. I counted no less than 10-12 employees without masks. Not hiding them around their necks, just not wearing them. Specifically, the click list employees at the entrance and the stockers in the aisles. There was a manager present, walking the store. Absolutely makes ZERO sense to me! On a positive note, this was the first time I have seen all the customers wearing masks.

The store at 65 S. Livernois in Rochester Hills, MI is abysmally lax enforcing mask wearing by employees working in public areas. By orders of the Governor they should also be requiring ALL patrons to wear masks. Enforcement is non-existent. Management is lazy, and from the response I got from the woman at the customer service desk who clearly observed employee non-compliance I can only conclude Management simply doesn't care.
