I went to your store last night and the cashier acted like I did something wrong by paying cash. He threw my change at me. I had to ask for a bag and he rolled his eyes but finally put my stuff in one. I won’t go back there.

Went in to buy a stihl KM56 and three attachments at just after 7pm. The items were locked and the associate who I asked to help (an older man) stormed over and told me that I had a lot of nerve asking for this so close to closing.
The store closed at 8pm. I apologized for the inconvenience, and he grumbled under his breath and said: “one of those days.”
He unlocked the equipment and roughly pulled it from the holding slots, hard enough to break a piece off the display.
He complained loudly to his associates about my “huge order” and followed me around the store to get me to hurry up so he could check me out.
How very uncomfortable of an experience that was. I cut my list short because even though there were several other people shopping, he chose to follow me around every corner and stare at me and sigh.

I got verbally assaulted by this really old worker. I did nothing wrong and he screamed his face off. I think he’s apparently a district manager. I’m disappointed and disgusted that they treat their customers so poorly.

Teen-aged cashier was too lazy to call for assistance, look in the book, or go get the price for my item that didn't have the price tag marked. Made me go back and dig through their shelves to find one that was properly labeled. The place was near empty and two other employees were just standing around. After several bad experiences with inept cashiers I'm done with ACE and will just order from Amazon or a big box store. Why have a local business if service is impersonal and inept?

On one hand I want to leave a bad review but on the other I don’t. I’ll break it down. I came in 4/29/24 @ around 7pm to make an appt to get a key made. I went to the front counter and I don’t remember his name but the older man working was so rude to me for no reason. He said he didn’t have time to help me and that he didn’t want to help me and he just walked away. What kind of customer service is that? I was so heated. But Kendra, saw what happen and took care of me. She agreed that it was uncalled for behavior and she gave me a discount as well. She made it right. But I want to know why is this cranky man working customer service if he doesn’t want to help customers? He needs to go. Kendra was great tho!

This place has much of what you'd find at the box stores but it's got that hardware store charm. Very helpful staff. I suggest you try these guys before going to the big boys.
