Fantastic customer service! Got everything we came for- Owen brought our cart to the front register for us and help us locate all the materials. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

I've been to other ace hardwares (the one in oxford is great!) Every time I go into this one the employees are rude and difficult to deal with. I won't be back!

No price match unless you bring in some hard copy of the price of the item due to the store policy(as we know ace hardware is owned by different owners even they are called the same name). If I bring that in, why I don’t buy it from another store?

Went in with frame to have a piece of plexus cut. The guy had to measure 7 times, cut 3 times and tried forcing in and said it needs to be tight! I said it’s not 14 1/2 minus 2 lines( his measurement terminology) I would have assumed he would know what the measurements on a ruler are working there and cutting glass. I said numerous times , it’s 14 1/4 on both ends so that’s what it needs to be cut too. I finally decided he was not going to be wrong lol so I left .

I'm removing many stars because their rewards program is pointless. Every time I go in there with a coupon and spend $75 or $100 they find some reason not to honor it because just one of my many items are on sale. And it's ridiculous that I would have to remove that item if the remaing items were still enough to be eligible for the coupon. But I'm not going to argue the point with a poor teenager working the register. I'm just going to order all my lawn and hardware supplies from Amazon instead of supporting a local business to save the hassle, time, and money just for some stupid rewards program that doesn't work anyway.

Great store! Seems to always have exactly what I am looking for, and, I don't have to walk a half mile to find it. Prices? As good or better than the big stores. Love the local store feel.

They have approximately doubled the size of the store. They now have a much larger inventory and continue their friendly, helpful service. Many of their items are competitively priced.

The enlarged facility will prove to be a great asset to our community.

Had a terrible experience trying to buy Benjamin Moore paint. I had the cans with the labels and codes on them but the clerk was equal parts clueless, rude and uninterested. He basically told me he couldn't help me. I Walked out, drove to a Benjamin Moore store and had the completely opposite experience. They were helpful friendly and attentive. They also knew how to look the codes on the paint can up. ten minutes later I was on my way home with perfectly matched paint and a new found knowledge of where (and where not) to buy paint!

What is it about certain American industrious or farmgrade cities that make you feel like you're in a live action film set of get out?
They truly don't show any negativity towards customers of their own race but anything else is beyond strange and incompetent, caveman treatment.
In Bh, I noticed it was deeply rooted but not so outwardly expressed at times. In cities like white lake and Rochester? Especially downtown Rochester? It truly feels like you're an alien invading their territory. Friends of mine who are poc have all experienced the same treatment and this store and many others around are like this too.
The scared cave people will stare at you from across the way as if you're carrying a backpack full of WMDs. Idk what it is but these people and their associate companies like hobby lobby, need to get it together.
I genuinely want to "get out" of Michigan for situations like this but god bless this boomer developed economic times we're in.
Thanks Ace of Rochester for yet another unpleasant experience! I can't wait for the next one!

Undergoing a major renovation which will add 5000sq ft. They have so much random stuff that works take you hours to find at a lowes or home depot but here with their awesome knowledgeable staff you're in and out in no time!
