I will never buy anything fresh from this store again. Went here on Monday 4/22. Bought a loaf of bread, the next morning the bread had mold. Also bought organic asparagus, stored it in my fridge in a cup of water as I always do. Went to cook it on 4/24 and it was completely bad, had to be thrown out. Not the first time I’ve had issues with produce here.

We love our local Busch’s! They emphasize Michigan and local products and produce, have an awesome beer, liquor, and wine selection, the staff is tenured and friendly, and they have what you need. Extra points for their local charitable work as well.

Overall not a bad store to run to since it’s closer than Meijer or Kroger, but honestly their prices on everything are so sky high. Paying $1-3 dollars more on almost every single item. No wonder the place is usually a ghost town.

Ridiculously high prices. Price gouging is their business model.

If you're willing to pay for the good vibes then shop here! Yes it's pricey but you are quite literally paying for the atmosphere. This place is never super busy where it makes grocery shopping overwhelming. They have a large selection of brands you don't run into often. Lots of local products and a fantastic staff. The parking lot is large and easy to navigate just like the layout of the floor. If you're willing to spend a little more id recommend this store to you in a heartbeat.

Getting better, but the product selection and stock levels post-pandemic is still not as good as it used to be.REVISED: Many of the dairy products (cottage cheese, whole milk, half and half, skim milk) were at or near their expiration date. In general, the dairy section has been poorly stocked for several weeks.

Nice and clean inside. All food fresh and amazing. More pricey. But you get what you pay for. Great place to grab prepared food for lunch or dinner.

Awesome experience here. LOVE, ALL the plastic packaged goods, bags. More plastic is what the world needs. Super convenient. Plus, when you're done with it, you just throw it out. Where, it absolutely goes into recycling, thus, producing MORE Plastic convenient products! AWESOME! Keep up the awesome plastic packaging pipeline! Plastics for LIFE ? Plastics, makes the world possible!

Well....the selection and offers at Busch's are good, though the prices are higher; however, I've been debating writing a review for some time. Bottom line is this: it is difficult and sometimes unpleasant to go through the checkout at Busch's--there are not enough staff and one is all but forced to go through the very inefficient self-checkout. On the other hand, Trader Joe's is VERY efficient at the checkouts, PLEASANT, and there are always plenty of people. Where will I go more and more often in the future? Please guess. There are staff at Busch's who spend a lot of time talking up front, possibly watching for anyone cheating the self-service line, but it would make much more sense to have them actually working the cash registers. I don't like doing it myself, I bring my own bags and don't get the bag credit in the self-service line. There are many older customers, and they, too, do not generally like to go through self checkouts. As for food offerings, they are decent--in many cases very very good (wines, deli items, fish, meats)--but given the prices for some ($8.49+ for the chicken pie the same chicken pie I can buy up north for $5.99), they could be better. At the deli, the potato salad is so-so, the coleslaw ho-hum, and it is often hard to get a counter server. Sometimes it's true at the meat counter, too: why do stores make the employees both handle sales AND do food prep? I imagine that with permanent sales staff, you'll sell at least 25% more. A commission on sales, I've heard, can improve sales. Elsewhere, some items disappear from shelves (certain candies, etc) and only return to the shelves weeks later, seemingly indicating issues with supply. I like the coffee offerings; the fish counter too is generally decent. Plastic bags--but this is the same as Meijer or Walmart or anywhere else--should be banned as they are a plague on our environment but I might be asking too much with everything else I've put on the conveyor belt here. Here's hoping things will improve.

Higher priced grocery store in the same shopping complex as Trader Joe's. I've been here a handful of times when making a trip next door to TJs. I haven't ever made a trip here just for this store. But every time I've been there, I found a few decent deals worth purchasing. I was a huge fan of their house made coleslaw, from the deli department. They ran it on special for $2.99, and I grabbed 2lb for a pool party I had. Everyone raved over how good it was- I can agree. It was some outstanding homemade slaw. I've also grabbed some meat items here, mock fillets ($4.99lb) and pork belly $3.99lb) and both were very fresh and tasty. Their produce sections always has vibrantly fresh looking fruits and vegetables, but again, a lot higher than all other stores (almost double!). They host a great selection of beers, including craft, wines and lots of liquor. Again, the prices are a lil steep. I appreciate the uncomplicated/non-glitchy self checkout, it gets me out fast. While I haven't had much interaction with many employees, because I'm not helpless when I shop, the ones I have talked to briefly were pleasant. It's a grocery store. With inflated prices, more so than most. I'm sure I'll pop in again, to find a deal or two, when next door at my favorite Trader Joe's.
