Brought in 4 brand new and expensive items to have my name sewn onto. She had items for 7 weeks and every time I called she was working on them... finally picked up yesterday name was spelled wrong, crooked letters and 2 different colors!!! Awful work and now items are not usable !!!!! I would not recommend this business!! I called to tell her and didn't even offer to fix or a refund.

My dress not only was not ready on time, but Sheila didn’t even communicate that it wasn’t ready on time. I showed up to pick up the dress/try it on, and there were safety pins all over it, holes in the tulle, and pieces hanging off of it. This was 3 weeks AFTER it was supposed to be finished, and 2 weeks until my wedding. Very dissatisfied and definitely regret going here for alterations. Very confused about the complete lack of communication and acknowledgment of all the issues.

Very kind but never called me to come in for a fitting, I was always reaching out and checking in. She had my dress for 3 months at least and in the end I just paid and took elsewhere bc it still did not fit how it needed to and yes I expressed that concern. The seamstress I took it to said she doesn’t know if it was even hemmed because it looks like a factory hem at the bottom so I either got ripped off or she is as good as a machine at sewing ??♀️ A week until my wedding and thankfully found someone who’s willing to take on the challenge.

My daughter took her wedding dress there to get it altered and when she try’s to reach out to her to see how it’s coming along she never answers the phone. The last time we were there was 18 days before the wedding and she still needed to take in the dress in and shorten it, now we are 5 days til the wedding and still no dress or contact from her even though we have tried continuously to get a hold of her. Took my wedding dress and my sisters bridesmaid dress to this shop. My wedding dress and my sisters dress were cut too short, even though we put the shoes on that we would be wearing that day when Sheila measured for length. Also when discussing my bustle, I asked Sheila what her opinion was on the type to have her put in. Her reply was “well we clearly do not agree on anything with this dress, so you don’t want my opinion” because previously Sheila mentioned wanting to remove layers of tulle from the dress which I did not want to do, and I felt this was very unprofessional. Also when my mom went to pick up the dress to take to another seamstress she was very rude and still required payment for the wedding dress that was cut too short. Needless to say, my dress is now being fixed by another seamstress who has to ADD ON 3 1/2 inches to the bottom so that it will be the correct length, and fix my straps that Sheila shortened, which were then uneven. Besides destroying my dress, her attitude was very unpleasant. I do not believe any of what she did to the dress was intentional. This was a very expensive dress with multiple layers and beading, however, Sheila should have voiced she did not have the skill level to alter my dress correctly.Service: Alterations

Wife is petite, always need to fix. Sheila has fixed he slacks and a jacket my wife loved, and hope Sheila could shorten the sleeves and sippers on them. Best job every. And nicest people I’ve met.

Sheila is an expert seamstress and tailor. I alway enjoy my visits to the shop, whether with my daughters with their wedding dresses or just me with a pair of pants that need to be fitted. Her prices are more than reasonable and her completion times are fast.

Sheila did the alterations for my wedding gown. She does great work, my gown fit like a glove, and is very affordable!
