“We couldn’t be happier with our new custom-made Jonathan Stevens mattress. We needed a lower mattress and Jonathan Stevens was able to custom make the mattress in Grand Rapids and get it to us very quickly here in Kalamazoo. Our service in the Portage store was very professional, and the staff was very knowledgeable. They were able to get things moving along very quickly. When the bed was delivered, the delivery staff was excellent. We couldn’t be happier and plan to buy our next mattress from Jonathan Stevens!”
“I had NOT heard of WMU Surplus sales until I saw something on facebook marketplace for it. They are only open 2 days a week, and so today, figured we'd stop by. WOW WOW WOW. This place! It is an extremely environmentally-friendly way for WMU to reduce reuse recycle furniture, electronics, new lightbulbs, textbooks, a piano, chairs, file cabinets...just about anything you can imagine being used at a University, they have it. Follow their facebook page (WMU surplus sales) for up-to-date inventory (new things posted weekly!), but definitely stop by to see what they have. I was pleasantly surprised. Office chairs are $3! What was particularly funny to me were the industrial-type desk staplers...they would make a GREAT gift for someone that loves stapling. This has been the biggest shopping surprise in my entire time living in Kalamazoo. You'll never know what you will find! The staff are SO kind and friendly. Parking: there is a lot across the street; do not park on the street. EVEN better, the entrance is at the back by the loading dock, so park back there. Anything eventually not sold gets broken down and recycled. I LOVE this environmentally-wise way that WMU works. Bravo!”

“Over the past 20 plus years I have purchased 3 PC's, 2 laptops, a Children's Bedroom Set, a Living Room Set and 2 LED TV's from Aaron's. Never had a problem with them. One of my laptops failed, and they replaced it with the latest, greatest model, without effecting my payment agreement. Never had an issue with anything else. Will always go through them to purchase something I can afford. Sure, you pay damn near twice the regular cost, but to me, it was well worthwhile! They got to make money too to keep us happy!”
“We got very good service while we were here. We ordered a Stressless chair the beginning of July 2021. We still have not received it yet. We had to sign an agreement stating that we knew it could take up to a year to receive the chair. We received a letter after the first month reiterating the agreement. The only thing I would recommend as an improvement would be a little more communication stating that they had not forgotten us or went out of business. We understand how difficult it is for businesses at this time with the state of the world. But I am really looking forward to receiving my chair.”
