Midas is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I paid 2195 dollars to have 6 fuel injectors replaced and a gasket to still have the same issues with my car. I brought it back to them a week later and they told me I might have an electrical issue and that it would be another 2 to 3 grand. I went elsewhere and had my car fixed correctly for 1025 bucks. They said fuel injector on cylinder 5 was put incorrectly and that it was catching fire. The part was melted and it also caused my engine controll module to go bad and 3 coil packs. I submitted receipts to Midas and pictures and the original parts back to them. The told me it would take 3 to 4 weeks for their vendor O'Reilly to review. I waited that time frame and they told me it was approved for me to get back the 1025 dollars reimbursed. Told me it would take a couple of business days, then 3 to 5 days, then 7 to 14 days. Now it's been 3 more weeks and for them to call me today to say it's not approved yet and that their vendor needed the engine controll module part number first. They have been giving me the run around instead of compensating me and working out the issues between Midas and O'Reilly.

Got a tire alignment for such a good price and my car has been running so nicely! Has helped my car drive long distances and it’s a front wheel drive so it’s definitely saved my tires

****This job was $1,000 for Spring installation on a 2022 Supra.*****
On July 30th, I spoke to Alban from Midas, 26005 Plymouth Rd, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48239.
I showed him my HKS adjustable lowering springs and he had his tech come out and make an observation (I severely regret not retaining his name as he was a substantial part of my issue) and stated he can execute the job without issue.
I paid $1,000 in labor on the spot and was advised it would be done by the following day.
July 31st, I go to retrieve my car. Upon retrieval, my front end was sitting higher than my rear. Additionally, the new ride height was actually higher than stock. (I was told it was raised so the vehicle could leave the lift. This was lie #1.) Lo and behold, after further inspection, damage to my carbon fiber spoiler.
I immediately called and spoke to Alban. I was advised that the trunk was left open, the vehicle was raised and hit the ceiling, scraping the vehicle.
I returned the vehicle and I was advised that the spoiler is going to be "Fixed". I am extremely unsatisfied that my prized possession is going into a shop for repairs... when I simply needed springs. I explain that the springs were installed incorrectly and that the ride height is completely off. (I WAS CHARGED AN ALIGNMENT FOR AN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED LOWERING KIT) I explain this. They stated I can lower it as it's adjustable.. which is inaccurate as the springs need to be removed to be adjusted... then bring it back for ANOTHER alignment.
I now leave my vehicle at Midas for the third day. I drop it off, get a ride for a second time. August 1st, I go to retrieve my vehicle. Upon my arrival, the vehicle is STILL sitting the way it is in the photos above. Unchanged. I was advised that the company HKS is the issue and its the product.
I look under the vehicle and observe the spring seat (that was supposed to be removed) and the boot uncut (Needs to be cut. It is clearly in the instructions I PROVIDED the tech.)
I asked Alban to ask his tech if he removed the spring seat. Alban told me the tech said "Yeah, I removed it." Which was a COMPLETE LIE and I have a photo to prove this (Time stamped and dated). I drive to Midas AGAIN and make contact with the tech to advise him what the job requires for a proper installation. The tech says "I skimmed the instructions." Scoffs me, rolls his eyes and shakes his head as if I don't know what I'm talking about. It was so inappropriate and unprofessional that I couldn't help but to say "Then you don't have to do the job."
I didn't deliver my sports car to a professional for the instructions to be "Skimmed through", retain damage to my vehicle, improper installation, lied to, disrespected, require 4 rides and charged for alignments that couldn't have been executed properly.
In the end, after all of this, I had to print off my own handmade instructions with photos on what the tech needed to do for a proper installation and slide it under the door of the shop. I was greeted the following morning with a phone-call stating they received my note. The note was simply a regurgitation of the instructions I provided from the manufacturer. This is my second time providing instructions, which was done on the 5th day of this single day job. My spoiler was buffed? Cleaned? Granted, not everyone can see it but I surely can and I know it's there. My spoiler was worth more than the labor ALONE. The ONLY positive portion of this entire experience was my interaction(s) with Alban as he his character was the only thing saving face of this company. Although, I was advised of reimbursement/refund for the labor, I have yet to hear from Redford Midas as Alban was "waiting for corporate"

This midas is the greatest midas in metro detroit ? Al really took care of me it was quick fast and affordable service I highly recommend you to try this repair facility out they made me feel welcome and at home thank you Al and thank you midas

Took my lifted diesel truck to these guys because no one else wanted to touch it. And man AL up front gave me the best service ever it was fast, friendly, and affordable!!! My truck has been running better then ever and to top it off Al & his team went above and beyond I was on a tight budget and they replaced a component I had no idea went bad & they didn’t even charge me for it!!!! Thank goodness for there expertly trained technicians because a little part that was a few hundred dollars literally saved me from getting a $14,000 transmission!!!! Thank you Al & your top notch team at Midas!! Highly Recommend - Take your vehicle there to get fixed right the first time every time.

Al the owner was extremely patient, what started off as a blown head gasket ended up becoming a replacement engine. For the record initially I thought my warranty company NFD was going to cover it. They went out of the way not too. That said Midas has payment options even for those who"s credit like mine is less than stellar. They financed the majority of the motor, Al the owner and Devin a manager from another store while Al was out on vacation for a duration they went above and beyond to not only deliver excellent quality work, but also were extremely patient while I figured out my finances. For clarity my car was with them more than 2 months obviously not ideal but they were patient and replaced my engine and my car is running great can't say enough about the Midas team. The ironic part u only ended up going to Midas because my sister all the way in ATL said to me, You know the Midas shop down here they do really good work and more times than not they I'll work with your budget. I said well my warranty should cover it but send you've endorsed them and my normal shop doesn't do warranties I'll check them out. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks again for your patience.

My husband took my truck to get fixed in June. I have full proof they never ever called me nor left a voicemail. Then on July 13 they had my truck towed away to the impound. I've never experienced a shop like this before and I will never trust them anymore. I will be getting a lawyer too asap. Dirty mfs and liars cause they never called or left a message just towed my truck.

they installed parts that were the wrong size causing more damage to my vehicle. then they refused to refund any money and I had to take it somewhere else to fix their mistakes mmissing work and being without a vehicle for a month
