I bought this because they had gluten free ramen. When I boiled it, I was surprised to see that the water turned cloudy and looked like tonkotsu soup. It doesn't contain powdered soup, so you can make your favorite soup and eat it. Hiyashi chuka is also good.
June 2023 I was taken there for the first time in a while. There are so many different products that I want to buy, it's hard (lol).I found dried sweet potatoes and went to the cart right away! It's a little different from Japan, but it would be great to have this in the US! The croissants are huge and cheap! I ate pizza at the food court and it was really delicious.
Dec2022A friend took me there. I bought this because I wanted to try dinner rolls. It was slightly sweet and had a chewy texture that was delicious even when eaten on its own. It's also delicious when toasted and eaten with cheese, vegetables, ham, etc. There are other things that look delicious, so I'm excited!”
“I visited with a friend who hadn't purchased a new suit in 30 years. We had just left men's wearhouse which was a disaster.The salesperson's name was Jason, and he could not have been more courteous or respectful. My friend is retired, and of limited means. I immediately let him know that my friend was not interested in anything over $400. He read his client perfectly, and helped select the perfect suit.My friend would never have chosen von maur on his own, but they have made a client for life.Thank you Jason and Von Maur!”

“I always disliked going to this Marshalls store because they never had anything that interested me and it was always disorganized BUT they must have a new manager or something???!!!
I had to go next door to Michaels and decided to try Marshalls again. I was pleasantly surprised to see how the store changed!!! It was remodeled and they had new things! It was clean and organized!! It looks like their sister-store TJ Maxx and had the same type of things.

“My favorite store to shop and look around. Always neat and most of the staff is nice.There is an older lady that has been working there for a while, mainly in beauty dept with curly short light brown/blonde hair and glasses who is extremely rude and always has an attitude. On several occasions, I’ve had her follow me and has been vocal about customers getting in her way while I was browsing, and not even touching any product. Finally, I confronted her about her comment and asked if I was bothering her. She did not even apologize and instead deflected that she was just venting that customers are messing up her section. Lady, if you are unhappy with your place of employment or what you do, please do not take it out on customers who are helping keeping the business open and you employed. Nonetheless, I chose to rate 4 stars for the shopping experience (minus 1 for rude beauty dept employee) and I will still continue to shop because I enjoy the variety of items they have and good prices.”

“Big Lots is kinda a more wide open version of Ollie's.They have random stuff, furniture, housewares, electronics, candy and a ton of snacks.Not everything here is a deal, so carefully check your prices and don't assume it's cheaper than Walmart across the street.If you sign up for the free club, you get 15% off your first order. So make that count and don't waste it on a $25 purchase.Employees are super helpful at this location, so if you live half way between this and the Westland one, choose the Livonia location.Pretty good overall, recommended.”

“I couldn’t find a lotion I wanted and I have been looking for it at several different targets. I’m here out of town so I decided to look online and see if it was in stock and it was! I get there and it wasn’t on the shelf. I was disappointed but then I see, I think his name was Aaron, walk towards me and I ask him if it was in the back. He left to look in the back and he’s gone for maybe 20 minutes looking for this lotion for me because he said they got it on truck! He comes up to me and apologizes for the wait and of course it was fine. He took maybe 45 minutes out of his shift to look for this for me and he found it! I was very grateful and he was very sweet. “This place has changed over the years. Not for the good. Went to purchase some clothing for me granddaughter and they did not have much. I thought the lighting could of been better. It was rather dark in the store.. Which is a safety issue.. Could not find an employee for help. Had to go upstairs to the jewerly counter to find associates.”

“Needed to make an exchange and service counter was a good experience to start. Returned with the item I wanted to exchange with original item. Explained to different employee I was having issues w card I made purchase w I'd like to put it on I gift card I had .36 cents remaining. She said that wasn't possible...went ahead a put the difference on the card for original transaction (I wasn't aware yet) I said well put on a different one? She said too late it's on the original card...???? Ummm thanks for asking first? But I was talking to her but actually she was busy talking to another employee & not paying attention to me lol...So there's that little bit of her not hearing me telling her I was having issues with the card I made the original purchase with. So now the difference she put back where I didn't want her too is in limbo until everything is fixed. But hey whatever right? Lol at least I got the exchange done & there's money there one of these days. No big deal.”

“This location almost has everything I need when I go there. Most the time the shelves are stocked. You may not find a few things due to shipments still being off. But your going to at least find 7-8 out of 10 things you need. Today I found everything I needed on my list sooooo I was very happy. Plus there's a white lady manager that does a awesome job at this location. I didn't see her today or I would of asked her name so I can mention her. I wish she could be General Manager for all the Family Dollar stores in Detroit and surrounding areas because she runs this location great. So great job to her!!! ?????? ? ?”
