From Illinois to my aunt and uncle (a private investigator and financial advisor in wa state) and this branch in Redford having to get my grandmothers estate I have never had a good experience but this has by far been the most horrifying experience of my life. I can’t even go into details but the lack of compassion for someone who just suffered the loss of her parents and grandmother, who’s is a single mother just served her own death sentence and given the run around unnecessarily for months from chase to be kicked out for saying are you fing kidding me not even loud and rightfully so (other employees even apologize me multiple times to me over what’s happened over weeks) the manager here has absolutely ZERO regard for human anything. What a disgusting excuse for a human being. The only thing he cares about is a corporate job and paycheck. Please I beg you go bank somewhere where they care about you as a human because if something happens to you personally they will literally tell you to kick rocks and smile while you break down in tears in their face. This place is exactly what is wrong with the world today. I’m so beyond appalled.. how unbelievably sickening and shameful. I can’t imagine that manager has a family he goes home to and treats this way. Just speechless.
I literally asked him to just apologize for treating me so poorly and giving me the run around and my family the run around for so long and he refused and so I said are you fing kidding me NOT loud and he kicked me out. After treating us so poorly. What’s the most embarrassing part for this tiny little pathetic excuse for a man is that his own employee, the poor processor, even look at me with the sorriest look on his face and had to look down cause he couldn’t make eye contact. He knew what his manager was doing and how he was treating me was SO WRONG. I feel the sorriest for him because he has to work under this person still. That employee had his hands tied dealing with an upset client and a manager who had no sense of self awareness at all.
After reading all these reviews I can see this bank has had a long history of horrible nasty customer service and I would highly advise banking elsewhere. If you do bank with chase do not go to this branch and stay away from the manager if you are a woman. His behavior would have been very different had I been a man. At this point I feel like chase is trying to keep my grandmothers entire estate because she’s been gone 6 months and we’ve fought tooth and nail and it’s been nothing but problems to get what’s beyond proven ours.

Decided to close early while people were still pulling in and all the employees were standing around talking... Never banking here again not worth the bs or having to deal with rude employees..

They are trash and unorganized completely useless people work there I scheduled an appointment sat there for 10 minutes before they got to me only to tell me they can’t take me because the person I ache with isn’t there they should have been able to accommodate to my needs considering they made me wait accept my appointment and wasted my time hope hope the workers are reading this y’all are useless idk how you even have jobs wasting peoples time like this hope chase lets you go

The fact that chase claims to help small business owners is complete crap. I have a 780 credit score and my bussiness has been around for 3 years and we do pretty good as an embroidery bussiness and they still won’t approve me for a credit card. And I know ppl with worse credit and crappier bussiness that get approved makes no sense

Went to close out elderly mothers safe deposit box that for some shady reason they made her sign a new signature card 14 years ago when we were all on it prior they made her change it then the red tape and showing legal do uments for power of attorney then they taking their time and denying our legal documents wanting their paperwork filled out struggling with an elderly parent with dementia is like dealing with a 2 year old and struggling to have them sit down stay focused to.sign umpteen pages and initial line after line after line half way thru she got frustrated having to do repetitive work she didn't want to finish ut forcing her to finish so we can go get her things from her safe deposit box before they confiscate it because we aren't paying for it anymore were using the funds for her care they denied their forms on a technicality so now were forced to drag her out of her facility to take her to the bank to sit around waiting to get her things out of her box. Too much work for them to do nothing.

Friendly service which is why I gave this place 3 stars. After literal years of cashing savings bonds without an account - I am suddenly no longer able to do this very thing. I started my transaction by telling the teller that I had no account and this has not been a problem before. But then she felt the need to inform me anyways. You as a company then wonder why I won't get an account.

Came in to put a down payment on a house with a account number and routing number for the owner I was purchasing from.....they couldn't complete a transfer or a wire. So they get me to purchase a cashiers check for 10 bucks...send me on my way with my envelope of paperwork.....I get to the other bank wich I shouldn't have had to go to at all and behold!!! My ID wasn't returned to me in my envelope of paperwork so now back to chase to get that before I can move forward with my day .....waste of time and energy....worst branch around

I didn't expect to like this bank. After working a really terrible hack by an ex-boyfriend, the bank managers/account specialists (?) tolerated my lengthy story and gave me a chance to explain things. They helped immediately and immensely. As I waited briefly for my appointment ( you can walk in and sign for a chat, too), I noticed that the line for the regular banking queue, customers and the banking staff knew each other by name, quite often. I consider it more of a neighborhood bank feel, despite being one of the largest banks globally. Definitely recommend!
