If I could give 0 starts I would. I don’t know what happened to DeDe and her sister but I would never go here again! These braiders are unprofessional, untimely, and the shop looks a mess. I was told the hair was included for my braids and upon arrival they said their inventory was low and I had to go to the beauty supply, buy the hair, and they did not deduct the price after being told it was included. Not only that, they take forever and have to call in other people from other shops because they never have enough people. There are so many better braiding shops in Michigan and surrounding areas, so please avoid this shop at all costs. They truly SUCK and they can’t braid either, with my parts being crooked. Braids look a mess I’ll never go here again.

I have never been to hair place so unprofessional! For one there kid was being very weird he was running around as kids do but he came up to me touching my legs which made me feel very uncomfortable he also drank my drink! And on top of that she made my braids very bulky which it was not shown like that in the picture I showed her but it was my fault for not tell her do I take the blame. Then I came back the next day to get my hair re-did and she didn’t give me a middle part claiming I didn’t ask for one when I did and it was shown in the photo. Now that I got my hair re-did it looks better but it is poor quality like it looks old when I just got it done. I paid $190 for 15 knotless box braids which they didn’t put the beads on it the second time but the first time they put it on it looked raggedy. I could have went to a professional with this money. They also had an attitude, yelling in the store. Will not be back. Edit: after she was harassing me blowing up my phone at 12;00 am claiming I didn’t pay her saying she was going to take me to court ? this is not a good hair shop these women are crazy fast forward to 2023 I stopped going to Africans to get my hair braided and have a great experience with clean/ nice American braiders

Do not patronize these people. Deede messed my hair up. Lied and said I cut it. Lied and said I was trying to cunning get it longer when I asked for a little past my shoulders. I only wanted it long enough to Put in a bun. I don’t know what this is I got. I paid what she asked me to. But I didn’t know she had cut it in all these lengths.or that she was cutting it. She said she was cutting the strings from the bottom. That was my fault for not looking at it because she pull it back to seal it with hot water and put it in a ponytail. When I got home I seen what she did and called and ask for a partial refund and she got rude and unprofessional with me. I said I will Write reviews ,contact the BBB and take you to court and her response was YOU CAN TAKE ME ANYWHERE. do not go to them. They could care less about you. They are very rude and unprofessional. A Negative 0 stars is what I give them. And Yes I have started a Small claim against them and I’m sure she will respond with more lies. But go on Facebook (Detroit Hair and Nails ) to see the whole truth. Her and my messages and the lies she told. I’m very displeased with the whole thing.0 stars 000. Been getting my hair done since 2015, they are good in what they do. They Ladies are professional, nice, neat, with good customer service. Was there on Friday they did my hair again and I love my hair. Will always recommend you guys to my friends, families and even my colleagues.Service: Box Braids

Unprofessional. Do not use this place— if I could give this place 0 stars I would. One thing I hate is for a “business” to take your money and then treat you like trash. No ethics. No integrity. Take your money somewhere else.

Very rude replying to customer complaints saw a terrible post on fb, they don’t value customers. I would not recommend this rude establishment.
