*Edit* I forgot I had reviewed this it's been a 2 years since I wrote that review, I have fiber internet through them and that's the way to go if you can get it. Much more reliable much faster in general very pleasant experience now.
I'm rewriting this review, it's 2:11 in the afternoon 11 hours 49 minutes before 2020, I cannot connect to Xbox Live, Hulu isn't working either because the internet blows. Been gaming on my phone's hotspot as it's faster and more reliable. I cannot wait until Truestream comes out here, 1 GB download 1 GB upload for $100/month we already pay almost $60/month for 3-11 download whenever it wants to work and 1 upload. Again 2005 called they want their speeds back.

Been with them for awhile now, but lately it seems to To be going down more lately and it seems to be Friday night or Saturday when they're not openSo I have to go to the weekend without internet till MondayI hope they fix this issue I'll drop put it back up to five stars

We switched from Hughes net to 186 three or four years ago as it became available to our whole Island lake community. It has been working for us great. Might take a while to get service or it might go out from time to time but it is a whole lot better than dial up or satellite. Our family of 4 uses it every day from my home office, kids with school and collage, online gaming, video, steaming movies, etc. Works great and has been for years. Looking forward to getting the Fiber optic service.

Went with them in August, partially to stay local and not jump through spectrum hoops...service has been good till now!! I get it was a holiday weekend but most of the town is out and they said they didn't know and just left us all hanging all weekend with no word from anybody about it!!! This is what staying local means, I'll jump through hoops

I've had service with them 4+ years, back before they changed names from coli. Usually I have great service bc I have a tower on my property (well a few hundred feet) I called tonight about service being down.. was told it would be up on a few hrs.. called back for update bc no service, told me someone will call me . Never did.. I called again and finally was told this issue will probably be like this until a tech could go out to tower which I know won't be tonight smh told them I wish she was honest from the beginning and told me what was going on instead of making excuses n lying n was discarded pretty much bc of my anger. I be have had multiple issues over the years but normal ones bc whether, switching bands, etc but I never been told it will be right back in a few hrs n lied to n then have to keep calling to get answers. Lack of professionalism n what we pay for services I deserve service n respect

If you are considering 186 Networks I'd think twice. When it works, which for us isn't often, it is great. But, if you have a priblem, expect little help, blame on everything but their service, delayed response, no weekend service, constant buffering and a "take thea moneyrmoney and run" attitude. You may be better off with a hotspot.
